Does Enmity cause you to get medals?

all I did at this fortress siege was spam my taunts and dps abilities, yet somehow I got 3 silver medals for it?

this leads me to believe that maybe you get medals for emnity on the guardian?

i don't think it was my DPS that did it, since there were literally about 60-80 elyos at the siege, all ranging from 35-50 there is no way i could've outdpsed all those pure DD's

I got 1200 ap for Using a 2hander and not taunting once.
Edit- also solo.

Tanked Guardian Deity like from 90% to 0% and got no medals. Previous siege i was just hitting it with my 1h and got 3 silver medals.
Maby it's based on your group's performance or something, i dunno anymore

How these things are calculated seem extremely random if you ask me.... Just be in a bunch and pray seem to be the way to go.

Kyris, where u in a huge alliance when u received those medals also when u used "siegebreaker" on the door in Sulphur? If so about how big for both, tnx.

i think its based on ur alliance's dps which is a result of ur ap?

I just went into a lower fort siege and was beating on it with my 1h and shield. Didnt gain aggro or anything, got about 600 ap and 3 silvers for it.

Top 60 (lower abyss) get medals (rank 1-10 - 2gold, rank 11-30 - 3 silvers, rank 31-60 - 2 silvers). Ranks are based on how much AP you gained during the siege.

Although, [GER]Thor states that rewards are given to the top100 players. So the remaining 40 players on the lower sieges will probably have received Kinah.

AP is rewarded by the amount of damage dealt. However, in a group/alliance the AP is distributed by level and not by how much damage you have dealt (compensate for Clerics just healing).

So if you you are in an good group/alliance - you can do jack all and still get medals.

That would explain, how am I getting gold medals each time I am on siege. Cause I never expected a templar to be getting any just by DPSing. Anyways some members of my alliance werent geting medals or got silver instead, which seems odd to me as usually I am only templar class while others in my alliance are Pure DPSers. So maybe theres something more that gives every templar an advantage in competition with DPSers (have to add that some of those who didnt get their reward in medals were active on siege and are damage dealers on higher lvl than me)?
