We need to start making assumption on templar builds o.0

Hey guys just wondering if we could start building up some kick *** builds on knight templar.. But I know Ncsoft havent released the full skill tree for classes. If anyone know any information on stats and skills about templar mind sharing? Much appreciated.

Most of us thinks Templar = tanks =.= i wonder if we can come up with something new.. maybe a offensive type sword/shield build o.o??

A templar will be a tank, just like a chanter will be a chanter. The variation is how you will handle that.

What do you mean by build? Stigma build? We don't know yet exactly what stigmas will be available.

But I guess if you want higher damage in 1 sword you can add some Assassin skills (they're already made for swords/daggers) so you can keep the shield.

But I'd add some defensive skills/buffs from chanter/cleric, so you tank better.

My build for my Templar will be HP + Defense. It will help with tanking and pvp based on being able to take 70% of my parties damage to myself and taking the hits themselves...I hope they have magical defense calculated right....

no maximus they dont have magical defense right in fact i think they messed it up completely, warriors will have the most magical defense PS welcome back *reads sig*

There is a difference between glads and templars but this topic is not about them :P
Anyway as many before me wrote - it's waaay to early to write about it due to lack of informations about weapons, stigma, mobs etc etc
I can assume that if u want to be a pure tank u have to choose 1H sword/blunt + shield and if u want to be dd the best build will be 2H sword that's all u can assume at this point

thats not correct^^ for a pvp templar you need to swap between 1H weap/shield and 2H weap

But it's correct you said that we dont need to discuss stuff which wouldn't make sense (lack of information and experience).

1H or 2H swap during PvP? We don't have to much infos about it but majority of the templar skills are working only with shield so the best choice for PvP will be 1H sword with shield (or mace), now if templar will be similar to L2 Paladin, where u've got special transformation vengeance he will be using 2H sword only for DD during PvE or RB when he's got backup in other tanks. Without shield he will be too vulnerable and without basic skills such as stun or whatever they will give him. But as I said it's too early, maybe koreans will write sth about templar skills in OB...
