Asmodian or Elyos?

I am going to give here some thoughts about tanks on high 30?s. As far as I fought many battles in the abyss, our tank enemies seems to resist more in battlefield then the Elyos.

That said, there is lots of several things to consider like gear, lv, itens, buffs and the person behind the toon.

But in general I would risk that the 'buzz' we all heard that Asmodians are more resistant and Elyos are more attack type, for me seems true.

Asmodians get more offensive orientated skills if the hellbound skilllist is still valid, dmg into hp and bleed (vs 100% block and stun that Elyos get).

There's an Asmodian Templar on the right side of the boarders of the forum for this website that's clear as day (unless your resolution is horrible or you just have the browser partially covering your screen) and looks like he's ready to tear the Elyos up. So much more awesome looking than the Elyos' ordinary look.

I'd pick either actually, since I'd just end up basing my characters off of ones from other games and media. If I roll Elyos, I'd end up making a female Templar with blonde hair named Ginny.

If I went Asmodian, it'd be a male brunette named Blues (or Protoman).

There's just so many choices for me.

I guess with the 2 sides being so alike i'll base my choice on looks, both the race and its home lands,

for me that choice was Asmodian, love how they look, and thier realms doesn't have that over the top cutie look to them

also reading the lore if prefer to fight on the "good" side...

i'd say choose what you like both in looks, playstyle and skills...... my guess what ever you choose if you commit to it it'll be great fun no mater what

if that is true i would pick (if i would roll a templer) a Elyos all the way.

ther eis nothing better then being defensive templer with + block n stuns.

i mean alone by the effects..not looking at the looks of the race.

dmg into hp for asmidians is nice but u gonna hav ea shitload of hp anyway as templer and u wont get that much hp back.

These skills consume 2000 DP and from my experience it's not too easy to gather 2000 DP.

yes but this still makes Elyos the better choice..

i mean if u have the DP

i know it takes a while to build it up..i played cn beta too

but to clear that question we need all dps skills compared to each other from both sides

there are craftable pots, +2k and +4k dp.

oh I didn't know that. I guess the elyos templar is slightly better because of that skill, since it makes shieldblock-skills available almost instantly.

okay yeah Elyos and Asmodian are both good , but for pvp what faction s going to own. When i played WoW i was on alliance and Horde always, i mean always won and afetr a while it kinda got annoying i wonder if its going to be like that with the asmodians :S

Possible is nothing, first in Warhammer the "bad" guys were dominating (Destruction), nowadays there's like 1 Destruction dominated server left in EU, rest is all in Order's hand.

hanso is right..i palyed a bright wizard (order) sinc ethe very first day of open beta + 3 months after release
