The hour cooldown implies that the skill will most likely be reserved for, and is meant for, emergency situations, including a PvP ganking, a mob train, pulling too many monsters, bad aggro management, etc.
It'll be available to prevent a party wipe and try to turn things around in those really bad situations, so it wouldn't be a skill that I'd use every hour, but instead a skill I'd reserve for worst case scenarios. After all, like I said before I have the single target ranged pull(with stun) stigma for pulling, so I'll easily be able to reserve the AoE pull for those emergency situations. |

I think this skill could be useful in PvE as well. You could run 2 templars into an instance, one grabs the main boss, the other uses the AoE grab to wrangle up all the minions. Definitely gives you some options. |

I can maybe see 10 or 15 minutes if they don't want you to constantly use it *or how about you can use it one time and then not again until you drop combat* but 1 hour is just inconvenient imho, for instance lets say its actually a needed skill to beat a particular boss or something, that means that if you don't beat it on your first attempt you simply ****ed. Also does it at least stun the target? I guess what I'm picturing is like blam port everyone to your character only to have them immediately turn around and run in opposite directions and then gg 1 hour till you can try again. I guess I really shouldn't complain until the game comes out tho since I don't understand the full functionality ![]() |

"Capture I (lvl22): Pulls a target within 15m to melee range. 30 second cooldown."
Never mind 1 hour cooldown is fine. Also DeathKnights are stupid, one of the core reasons I left WoW. Was just trying to point out the fact that it looks like its going to be difficult to close the gap in pvp as a Warrior. Sorry if that somehow offended you |

Same old balancing prob really. Allow warrior to close range easily and GG range classes. make him slow and bye bye melee players.
Normally developers cover the sh1t with stunlocks, guess its a lack of realism MMO players are gonna have to live with until the next realism update in gaming. You'll have stuns and knockdowns enough to see you through. its called ''an attempt at balance''. |

As far as your concern about closing the gap in PvP: I'm sure at some point the devs will take care of that for you. I stopped caring about class balance in PvP a long time ago. Everything goes in a cycle. Class A destroys everyone. Everyone cries "OP!" and then Class A gets nerfed into oblivion. At this same time, subtle buffs are given to other classes, and it turns out now that Class C is now destroying everything. They are nerfed into oblivion right behind Class A. I definitely understand where you're coming from and was not offended. My over all point: your day in the proverbial spotlight will come. You just have to wait for it. |

Really nifty skill, probly only viable in PvP like others have said, but only if it is coordinated correctly, and there might be other things to close gaps, probly a charge ability or somthing. AoC had a nifty charge, just before they got to the enemy it would go into slow motion and the dude would jump at the enemy 300 style, it was awesome. I have high hopes for this game....since it does resemble EQ and FFXI alot, and I do adore both those games

Single target pull is 30s cooldown. Atleast in pvp you can pick out priority targets and pull them into a gank.

I like the fact that it's an hour cool-down and 4,000DP. I agree with the people saying that it is similar to FFXI's 2 hour ability. It should only be used in emergency situations. For PvP, I can see why it would be so insanely strong and overpowered if it did have a lower cooldown. But for PvE, I can already imagine myself using the ability to pull all mobs near me in order to buy time for the rest of the team so they can run away and not die. Sorta like a martyr. Regardless, that move is gonna be aweesooommmee. It looks sweet.
