Why the hell do ppl keep talking about balancing the game about lvl 15 duels? Seriously...get a grip. The game should be balanced about endgame group pvp.

Gladiators get 'charge'. It's a 5 minute cooldown spell that increases your speed for 10? seconds. You are very very fast for those 10? seconds.

The thing its that the Assassin got a "charge" am I right? They step from far(20m) at the back of the enemy, it's a bit unfair for the Warriors if you ask me, anyway I ll not play a Warrior but I have some friends that will do so.

sins only get leather armor while warriors get plate, unfair isnt it?

The thread is'nt related to which armour type who wears, it's about closing the gap on ranged people from a melee perspective, it's right that this game should'nt be balanced around 1v1's but when a class can't function while soloing which make no mistake will still be a massive part of the game something should surely be done to help the cause, even if it is on some sort of cooldown, i did like the suggestion somebody posted regarding to templars shielded reverse cone idea, very nice idea indeed... still looking fiorward to this game and possibly playing glad (still undecided on this and cleric).

in duel any class has 50/50 to win, even a melee vs ranged. if you're talking about being jumped and not having 50/50, well you got jumped you can't have 50/50.

what i don't understand is why so many people think every class should be perfectly matched against each other, I would rather know my class will always have strengths against certain classes and weaknesses against others. Much more satisfying than oh we all have an exact equal standing no matter what we are playing.

In every game Sins got leather armor and Warriors Plate but only in this game the Sins have hide and "charge".
I think the Sin's one its ok ,but I feel Warriors should have it too, that's all.

I agree, I like the idea that certain classes are gonna require a lot of work to even beat..keeps things fun imo.

People just need to stop judging the game based on low lvls, and if they are really worried about the state of glads go look up the skills we have, we get a few snare skills ourselves that will help close the gap (25m snare) and also don't forget you can also get pots to remove snares.

and also its more about group pvp than solo so try not to let ruffle your feathers to much.

this ain't "every" game, btw, glads/temps also got charge (if you talk about a skill like "stampede" where you are guaranteed to be toe-to-toe with your enemy afterwards, well for sake of balancing in aion this doesn't exist, eg stunning strike or ankle snare), which is in short burst terms more efficient then the sin's "charge".

In Guild Wars when they first introduced Assassins they made the teleport/shadowstep skill that sins have not a primary skill. What happened was every Warrior became a Warrior/Assassin and picked up that skill in PvP and nobody used Assassins, because warriors with teleport/shadowstep was better than Assassins in every way. A later update made it so that only Assassins can shadow step.

If it is too easy to close the distance, then no one will play RDPS or they will whine and then they will get more range. So MDPS will whine and get a longer dash. So RDPS will whine and get a longer range.... oh my...

Leave it as it is tbh. My sorc is soft enough without having a melee stunning it every few secs >.< wouldnt be balanced tbf.
