The thing is, melee need to charge or hide or something to be able to reach a ranged dps. The Assassin can charge and stun you 8 times or 7 if you are Asmo. At the moment Warriors cant close this gap also every Ranged DPS class can snare you...so no big deal... Of course you can kill peps but still...Surely loads of people will change their minds to role a Sin just for the "charge" if they like melee I mean. And about the "charge" that warrior have at lvl 16 , its a 10 secs buff to improve speed can someone say how much?I mean if its enough to close the gap its ok but surely will be like use buff/snare/buff off. It will be nice if meanwhile you are using charge you cant be snared. |

If you guys want charges then go back to WoW. I like the idea that some classes have advantages over another and one doesn't stand among the rest. Just like people said before me, its more fun earning your kills instead of crying for another ability to make the game more "balanced".

just wait for it to be released before we critique it, after all if its a huge problem I'd assume the Koreans and Chinese players would have been complaining about it. Thus since it hasn't changed yet in the recent patches I'd assume that glads do pretty well. Go check out some of the pvp videos.
I happen to enjoy this one a lot so check it out ![]() Thought the person isn't always alone as far as I can tell from the combination of pots..snares don't seem to be to much of a prob for him/her. Do you want Stealth aswell with Charge? pffff
I hate it when people start moaning at low levels and moan about how they get pwned. Even if you get killed by another class at high levels doesn't mean they are overpowered, you just have to learn to play your own class. Every class has a weakness against another class. So stop your whining and *************. EDIT: Btw, I'm kinda getting the feeling from all the Gladator vs Assassin threads, that Gladiators are trying to be like Assassins but more powerful. Is this serious?Well from lineage 2 forums i readed so much crap about pvp and balance, and funny is that most ppl that talked in foruns about pvp issues never got end game skillz..., and now i see ppl saying classes need balance in Aion..., were can ppl talk about balance in lvl 15 or even 25 or 35..., most likely there will be no such owner class or such balance...!
If i open skill trees for example from templar i see at least 3 skillz that can close the range gap at higher lvls...., dunno how will be in future with gear bonus and resist etc etc! Ppl must understand that no matter what developers do...youll have always a tuff fight if your enemy its smart and knows how to play, in lineage2 pvp at 78+ was a matter of seconds to be dead or alive..., i played a tank class and you must use technics like using enviroment etc against mages for example..., skill timing and knowing your limits! If you think developers will do all the work so players can only run to target and have a set of skillz to spamm until your target is down...well for that ones i recomend a sorcerer maybe with invicibility skill probably... |

Yeah, and i think i start to understand why they wont give Glad a good running skill. Imagine in a group pvp, with proper running skill, GladS (remember "the S") can rush quickly and focus fire on one target. Then run back to their faction group to get cover, with higher life than Sin, their chance of survival is much higher, plus Glad does have a good healing skill also, the cool down is long but the amount of healing is not bad ( correct me if i'm wrong) . Thats one hella tactic there.

Also, as I am watching that video, Those extendable weapons can really reach out and touch people. You have to get pretty far from a Gladiator to avoid one of those.
But I think the best point made here is PvP is not about 1v1 it is about a group effort. So stun me, root me, snare me, do what you have to. But what you going to do about my buddies pounding your face? lol |
