For goodness sake, quit your blubberin'!

EVERY game has ranged and melee... and in most games, melee are the top in PvP.

1- Many ranged skills can't be used while moving. They stop to shoot, you gain on them.

2- Most melee do NOT have to stop running to attack. They close the gap and when the ranged stop to cast/shoot, can hit them, which commonly interrupts the cast anyway.

3- Melee has chain and plate. They can take a beating while running to a ranged opponent.

4- Casters and rangers have cloth/leather. Once they stop to cast and that melee does catch them, they're dead in a few swings.

5- When a melee closes in on a caster, the caster has to run... and they get hit HARDER when hit from behind and they cannot attack without turning around. Otherwise, they run backwards, which is very slow.

Face it folks, it's pretty balanced by nature. You trade the lack of range for better survival. You can't have CC, range, high DPS, and heavy armor.

I fought a level 19 ranger aa a level 19 Temp he was trapping me, slowing me down, there was nothing i could do, he even had time to rest up his health while i was rooted. He just sat there and also he was fighting mobs while fighting me. I dont know what kinda gear he had but i dont know how any level 19 Templar could have beat him.

Plus from what hear that pull templars get at level 22 fails at least 50% of the time

You have no right to QQ bout not being able to win duels at lvl 19. Hit endgame 1st before crying bout not being OP enough. You don't even have all the skills for your class.

I'd say go for it if it's a 10-15 damage attack with stun for .5 seconds. And you have to waste a stigma slot to use it.

Quality Post! ........nevertheless, idk why you guys all crying about solo'ing a ranged character, im pretty sure in every damn pvp game 99% of the times the ranged player will always win vs. the melee player, coming from guild wars, which i can without any doubt call as the greatest pvp game ever, it's a fact that winning comes only from teamwork, in whatever kind of pvp you do, and there atleast, as a warriors you don't "charge" alone without a monk (or a priest in this case)that doesn't have snare/crippling removal vs a player with snares :>

Hi, on the Korean Server Rumiel i played a Sin, a Chanter AND a Gladiator up to 50. And let me say to you: Gladi is THE Underdog in 1 vs 1
All i`m talking about is lvl 50 Endgame
Mages: Slow you, if you charge--> get tooted, if you do Ankle Snare----> get tree`d= No chance against Mages
Cleric and Chanter = ROFL ZOMG XD You will never have a chance against them
Sins and sometimes Summoners= Only ones you have a chance BUT--> weak sins will probally cloak if see u, strong Sin make a barbeque from you (good sins means having the right godstones)
Rangers= Kiting FTW, if u use ankle snare or charge... will, i dont have to say what comes next
Templars=Sometimes Hard fight, but the def is the poin, if your better equiped you can make it
After all Gladi + Cleric is one of the best PVP Duo`s, in Group vs Group they medium
+So, ok. Some people telling ****: Aion is Mass PVP not 1 on 1 blabla, but these people have never played at high lvl at abyss. Every few mins when you want to farm mobs Elyos comes. I heard some Range Classes saying "Gladis are just Mobs in Abyss"
NC-Soft have to correct it, u cant play PVE in high lvls with a Gladi (probally besides 50 u wont farm in abyss anyway) cause your ganking target #1 if your farming there. Both other classes i`ve played are A LOT stronger than the Gladi, evry time running again to abyss to farm mobs after you get killed again sucks (loose points too).
Gladi playn makes a lot of fun, but... you know what i mean.

well i also like to have something to either close the gap between me and a ganged character or at least give us a health bonus or something i pvped at lvl22 with a ranger damn i almost broke my keyboard from the kitting i lost but the point is that templars are supposed to be tanks damn wht a tank can do against a heler ? nothing . against a heavy dps character with some luck and the element of surprise something can be done but if he gets u first there is little u can do other than being a meat wall .... I aint nyerkking or something but i actually want to either die in like 30sec to 1 min or actually win things like kitting for 5 mins + is just annoying...thats my view and before someone starts the usual "u havent played 50 lvl endgame so zip it "damn im talking with wht i got so far so ...

From what I'm reading and seeing on videos, Gladiators and Templars are VERY group dependent for PvP. They are both WAY too vulnerable to CC, snares, roots, etc. Even if you use a pot/scroll/etc to break the CC you have another one right behind it and your pot is now on cooldown. Not sounding very good for the warrior classes in this game so far.

Most the Asian players are saying that as a warrior (glad or templar) if you are not in a group in the abyss expect to be ganked over and over with nothing you can really do to stop it. Gladiators at least have good burst damage and solid AoE damage they bring to groups. Templars seem to be weak all around. The Templars one plus is there pull abilities, but that makes the templar mostly a 1 trick pony and the pull abilities is the only thing getting you an invite to group. (in PvP) Not going to be a very fun game play experience if you ask me.

1. in this game instant cast spells can be casted whil;e running, and rangers can attack while running. Plus only ranged classes in this game have slow downs, like ice chain and the slow arrow forgot its name.
2. 80% of meele attacks and attacks chains cant be used while running or it can but it stops you and not your target.
3. But they have low magic resistance this isn't WoW where armor is for physical defense only, it also gives magical defense and plate has the lowest. HP wise almost all teh classes are at the same level.
4. Simply not true casters have protection shields, blink, freeze, etc to scape and rangers have dodge and not to mention that when flying you can just drop down.
5. They don't get hit harder when attack from behind unless it is an assassin using surprise attack but thats for everybody.
Last statement i agree you cannot have it all, but noone is asking for all, we just asking for a charge which is needed.

It's not much fun playing a melee class if any time you are out farming materials or something you are a free kill for any ranged class that can kite. There needs to be a balance and currently the news from Asia says there really isn't too much balance right now. Melee need a group or they get kited to death in the abyss by healers and ranged dps classes.

If they are going to give any class an advantage in 1v1 in this game it should be the warrior classes since they have no stealth and limited ranged abilities, meanwhile all the healers and casters have multiple ways to CC or snare the warrior. Ranged should have good enough CC to run away to a safe location but if they stick around to fight it out, it should be very hard for the ranged to successfully kill the warrior class in a 1v1. None of this endless kiting I keep reading about. (from what I'm reading especially in the air)
