Thats PK not PVP. This is an MMO, if someones constantly ganking your *** go get your friends, call for help or go somewhere else.

Back on L2 or UO guildies would always help each other out even on WoW because of the faction nature of the game same as Aion I am sure randoms would love to help you out by fighting the opposing race.

Um, HP wise there are SIGNIFICANT differences. Like 2-3x difference between some classes.

It's still part of the PvP experience and will happen often.

Why should the characters that have the benefit of range and have tons of CC be the best at 1v1 style fights? That just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Give them the ability to escape and live to fight another day, which is something melee never get against ranged. This alone would discourage the PKing/ganking and encorage grouping since melee would not be getting solo kills much since ranged will just CC and run away, and ranged would not be getting solo kills because melee would kill them if they stuck around till the end. Now you have no real scenario for PKing and ganking to happen, and you encourage everyone to group. As things are now all reports show ranged have their way with melee in the abyss unless the melee has a priest to heal and cleanse them.

But i have to say that Templars are not so bad at abyss. Only Gladi is, but it`s very hard to fix this, a 2nd charge would bring him nothing cause roots (even with Armor of Balance, dont forgett: also other players have stigma too^^). The only thing he would make him stronger were a dash with chance to 1nd stun, but i doubt if this makes him overpowered. Just a dash withou stun, but with a short cooldown would make him definitly OP. So, what should NC-Soft do. Its a great Problem in my opinion, thought about this problem for Weeks. I good option for sure were the templar pulling skill, but it isnt cool if they have the same stigma skill and people would crying "uuu, gladi got ankle snare and AoB allready, so why now this too...".

Because in grp fights rangers/mages get face smashed, while everyone leaves us alone or cant burst us down through our healer. In every grp fight ive had, glads temps are the last targets to get called. Honestly in grp fights we rapeface.

Now im only 32, but i run around with 4 other 32's. We fight 37+ all the time, in grps and all, i can tell u CC's dont mean much when u get a awesome cleric with u. Or the fact they hav 5 peeps to chose from and when ya coordination targets and stuff the other grp is getting all divided and stuff.

In 1v1 ranged hav all theres CC's for just one target, they cc do damage, when the cc is over they do another one. In grp they CC it gets broken by ur skills or cleric, they try again, same thing. Not to mention they hav 3 other peeps chasing them aswell. Now i as a Glad i can handle 2-3 players on me easyly with a cleric a ranged class cant.

This is where its balanced, role a Sin if u want a melee class that can solo.

This makes perfect sence to me. CC's + range = target dead.

How did you do that ?? I mean... you are supposed to be 25 to go to abyss... and if you were dueling, doesn't the duel get interrupted when one of the player gets attacked by a mob?

Btw... at lvl 19 as templar you are only an easy shot, specially for rangers... and of course.. when you figh someone, you can see WHEN and WHERE he places the trap... try to get out of range and play with terrain... lure him to a tree area, or just notice where he placed the trap and WALK AROUND... it's not hard to see... Cya!

It doesn't get interrupted when you get attacked by a mob what are y0u talking about?
