Equal gear, when can a templar beat a gladiator?

yes, i forgot to mention that, but for most of the chanter i hav duel with, they usually use up all their mana before they can beat me..

did they have their best heal, the lv45 stigma on 10s cd and their best opener the lv42 ranged stun?
balancing changes a lot during the leveling process and chanter is one of the classes that needs 40+ skills to be on an even level to other classes, just like eg melee classes need high crit rating or sins more skills to pull off a decent stun lock.

I don't dislike Templars, but...

...when I am fully familiarized with this game and appropriately kitted out, I am "expecting" to give a well studded boot up the Templar's rear shield. I am hoping intricately carve my name into their sorry existence...

Ok so help me here please I don't want to get mixed up, I want to play with my friends and to pvp alone a little bit, mass pvp mainly since I won't be in the arena a lot. What should I choose, Glad or Temp?

either will work. Glad will kill faster but have more downtime solo.

not really. A max defense temp will take a crit build glad easily. OTOH, a max attack glad can take a max crit temp easily. Crit is a bit overrated honestly unless you are an assassin or DW glad. And a DW glad will get owned by a templar.

Beside, I also heard that ranger got nerfed for being over-powered 2 so we dont have to worry that much. But at least they will and that reduces the unfair advantage between class differences.

Plus that Aion does not have an unbalance pvp system like wow, where, literately, wizards r like pvp God.

Most people always think of pvp as 1on1, but there are also a lot of case where its a war. Templar with proper skills and levels will live better then a gladiator. What it comes down to is, it all depends on the player and how they find themselves to like the class. Not everyone can be the best.

I agree with an earlier post. They really tried hard not to have a class that out-classed other classes. It's all about how you play that character and making sure your not a gimp. A temp could take a gladiator logically...decent attack high defense vs. high attack decent defense. DPS is what could make or break a glad vs. a temp...in pvp it would be a pain to run into a temp...outside of one on one, because they add a kind of big ominous wall type element lol. It would relly suck to get stunned by some heavy clad shield wielding sonovagun with DD's surrounding you. BTW, I like they way this game is going to add to strategy instead of mindlessly pummeling crap and just a show of who's got the higher lvl...who can think! read son Sun Tzu! lol

not sayng wow pvp is balanced far from it, but WoW melee classes are the ones that should be nerfed atm, Paladins and Dks are incredibly overpowerd, and rogues can kill clothies before they can even move.
