Curious...do males and females hold weapons differently for warriors?

This thread here about chanters holding weapons differently based on gender made me wonder if warrior classes (glad in particular) also have this.

Thread:
Devastated!!!!

Yes.

Male gladi's are holding their pole at the very end of the stick and make it swing around their hole body.
Female have one hand at the very end of the stick and one in the middle holding it in diagonal where the perpendicular axe is the body on the floor.

Not sure if it makes sense, not easy to describe and i don't have any pics :/

(Elyos side ofc, not sure about asmo)

Asmo's are kinda similar, holding our poles at the base and near the tip, for maximum control, particularly in PvP if you catch my drift. TEE HEE HEE!

Huh. I'd like to see it for myself. Anybody got pics of their female or male glad with weapon drawn?

Thanks for the answers, btw.

This is my glad from closed beta#3, and as you can see its pretty much the same. if there would be any difference i would imagine it would be in the skills and fighting.

Actually, there is a difference in their fore hand, on the female the thumb side of their fore hand is facing their other hand, while on the male the thumb side of the hand is facing the end. Male stance looks actually viable in melee, while female stance actually looks like it would be uncomfortable or difficult to fight in.

Dont believe me? Go check it out for yourself. Grab a broom stick or something and try both stances. I have a bow staff that i tried it out on. =3

Maybe they chose to do it that way because males and females have elbows that are put together differently. "Throwing like a girl" is someting that happens because of how the female joint is differently put together.

Not to get off topic, but that's a misconception. I have seem many a human joint inside and out, and female joints are no different than male joints except where they are impacted by slight differences of the female anatomy. But I can assure you that elbows are the same.

The reason that girls often "throw like a girl" is simply because it is an unfamiliar movement. Female baseball players throw just fine. Children all throw like girls until they learn how. It's just a matter of well-rehearsed body memory. The golf swing is a perfect example. Without years of practice, golf swings are hideous whether you are male or female.
