Race: Elyos

Read my style, give me advice on what path i should follow.

Ok here it goes.

Basicly i like both classes the templar and the glad, and i like both class roles, Tank with consistent damage, and Plate with stuns, aoe and dps.

so to sum it up

-Which class should i play to be able to play solo when i dont have partys, and still level at a considerable fast pace

-Which class is more valuable to PvP/PvE

-Ive heard Templars with crit mana stones can solo extremly fast, how does that compare to the glad?

-What class would you rather have in your party?

-Which class is better at farming AP?

ok thats about it, id appriciate if you guys could help me

thanks in advance to everyone who gives me some insight about this topics

sidenote: when i first heard about aion i was accuatly more interested in making an Spirit master, but his animations/skills/combos are way too boring for me, the summons dont make it up for me, i might make a alt tho

(iam not going to add a pool, i dont want statistics, i want arguments)

Go gladiator, use poleaxe or greatsword to PvE solo or in a group. Then switch to duel swords to go solo PvP (your choice in what to use in group PvP)

You have it backwards, dual wields for pve since they hold better dps against single mobs and polearm/GS for pvp because of AOE and knockdowns.

But to the OP. Templers are more valuable to PVE since they're the main Tanks in the game and you need someone to Tank in Elite group quests. Gladiators usually aren't as important for PVE, they usually provide a DPS roll and they can off tank if a Templer can't be found. So overall, Templer > Gladiator for PVE.

For PVP though, Glad > Templer. Simply because they have better DPS and AOE's. Put a Gladiator in the middle of a giant PVP and you have chaos. They spam AOE skills doing loads of damage to everyone with potential knockdowns.
