Definitely Gladiator. I am myself more an offensive in fights than defensive. Also, what I really want are duals with +speed and + crit... The only thing I dont like about them is that I cant use melee skills for multiple targets. It is actually, a good choice to use duals in pvp and a greatsword (i like it better than polearm) in pve IMO.

I have always enjoyed either tanking or healing. MOre pressure to perform, and never a problem getting into groups. That's my opinion anyway.

Most games don't homoginze as much as select other mmo's as of late. I'm personally glad Aion doesn't. More specialized roles is a better thing if you ask me. People learn one job very well.

Templar. Why? Well, I love me some huge defense, and Templar is the best at that. The Templars in AION seem to have some pretty good damage (for a tank) and they attack REALLY fast =D
The only thing I don't like is having to be leader all the time and knowing your enemy and what to kill. Now, I have to do research T_T Hopefully, another Templar can help me out.

I just found out that Gladiator can use Polearm. I vote for Gladiator..

Like someone said Gladiator for Offense, Templar for defense.

Exactly. I really miss being the jack of ONE trade. Being good at what you do made leveling alts feel interesting too. You really are special, needed and important no matter what class you bring. Instead of other MMO's finding ways to make your class not needed, not important.

I mean WoW by design went out and said "You're no longer special. We won't make a game where X is needed over Y. Anyone can do anything, at any time. Everyone is the same." I mean, that becomes your design philosophy then what does it matter that someone is even behind the computer? Just let people go on autopilot. (Not that this isn't the way it is already for most raiders.)

I nyerking LOVE being a unique snowflake again. I love that I can tell who is a good player and who isn't not by DPS meters, but by success and failure.

why?

I rolled a tank, to tank stuff

there's nothing to tank...

so i'm stuck with a low dps class, slowly grinding with a 2 hander, cos i'm out of quests, yawn
