Gladiator or Templar

I'm glad so many people are rolling templars So tired of people rolling only DPS classes, have 4 alts, which are DPS classes, and then they ***** about never having a healer or tank.

Let's just hope that 45.90% of the Warriors remain tanks!

Gonna be a gladiator since i like close combat with some nice dmg, but not sure yet tought, if Gladiator is gonna get pawned by assassin im going for it instead:P

Playing most OPed class is overrated. Just shows you want the easy mode class that requires less skill :P USUALLY plate wearing melee DPS >>> Assassin though. So you picked the right choice

I was leaning towards templar but then also realized I wanted to spend most of my time in the abyss so gladiator might serve me better. I'm still undecided, I would need to see a list of templar abilities (one that makes sense and isn't poorly translated) before I could decide.

I definitely be rolling Gladiator, gives me the ability to be all the samurai I can be and join up with 6 others in the abyss and defend my brothers noble cause and take all they can give and dish it out.

Like it most MMO games I go for the tank. That is why I plan on being a Templar. Currently Im playing a Paladin in FFXI, and this seems to be about the same.

Gladiator because they have nice armer and wepons, plus they have an ok defence and a nice dps

Dual wield Gladiator, i cant stand wielding Two handed weapons and waiting for the hits to happen, I dont mind smaller numbers if theyre coming so fast you dont have time to react.

well at 1st i wanted to be a templar basically cause of the name and some cool artwork i saw... but at that time i didnt know they were def types so after finding that out i didnt even waste a sec and changed ma choice^^
the reason is as simple as possible^^ i just like brute force,the sound of braking boons(well i dont think we will get that here but still funny ), being in the middle of the action and of course BIG weapons
as for another reason i want to be able to take some dmg so a guy in heavy stuff is a "must" but I also dont want to be the one who "has" to be the tank which prevents others from getting some hits
so a gladiator is all the way for me

I am contemplating between three classes: Ranger, Gladiator w/ Polearm, Gladiator w/ Sword & Shield, or Templar.

imo i would pick templar, i think that is just because i prefer to tank :P i like to know whats happening with the mob i cant just stand there and heal ( cleric ) or use magic i like him hitting me

I'm going to have to go with Gladiator this time. Although Paladin was my ABSOLUTE favorite class to play in WoW, it seems like their main aspects in being Tanks that can Tug at a DPS spot in raids are dimmed down. Also once Retribution became a viable spec, I fell in love with it. The Gladiator seems to be a well-balanced hybrid between a DPS Warrior and a Retribution Paladin. I use this comparison for lack of any better. Perhaps this has helped shed some light on some of you who are undecided.
