Warrior is double the speed of leveling
I leveled to 12 with a chanter and ranger in 8-11 hours-ish not sure, and with soldier it was like 4-6 hours... What is this BS. Mind you ranger was painfully more then priest too..

Maybe it's mostly due to knowing the beginning quests better at that point? It didn't take me nearly 8 hours to level my Chanter or Assassin (not a ranger I know, but they do share 83% of the levels in question) to level 12. As for the "painful" comment, that makes good sense actually, the Priest class is ridiculously easy to level with all the heals.

I agree with Trynas, you probably just knew what to do and where to go off the top of your head, and had a strategy set up in your mind on how to complete quests so that you didn't do so much back-tracking.
Having plate armor, decent damage, and herb treatment/bandages makes leveling a warrior pretty fun and at a good speed. I think mages are best soloers though. |

2 hours to level 10 for any class but mage. Mage is faster, about 1.5.

Assassin and Ranger are much slower than Priest, Warrior or Mage. As an assassin between 10 - 20, you will die over and over and over again. Pull two even level mobs = death + long run/flight/teleport back.
Mages are the fastest (10 out of 10, 10 being the easiest). Priests close behind (8 out of 10). Then Warriors, extremely close behind priests (7.5 out of 10). Coming up the rear are the scouts (4 out of 10). Huge difference. |

I leveled an assassin in 2 hours. My first char was a chanter and took about 8 hours. Difference was the amount of people in the newbie area, my knowledge of the quests, and items.
Mail your new toon 40 healing pots and a good weapon for level 6/7. No downtime. |

That's weird cause i leveled rather quick on my Chanter. Maybe you weren't as efficient with your chanter and ranger?

Rofl, I don't take more than 3h to get to lvl 10.
Nothing to see here, you just got better on the second run and mobs were more easily available. |

Also if you started the game at launch you had a lot more players to fight over slow spawning mobs and single item quests.

2h 15m to level scout to lvl 10 in the 1st day of aion. How? Well i basically screwed half of the 1st starting zone and Qs and went foreward so no1 interferred with my quests
![]() Later on its better, ranger at 19-20 is ok and sin 25+ is ok for leveling __________________ I can see what you see not— Vision milky, then eyes rot. First toon seemed to take forever to ascend, second one took considerably shorter time, third, felt like it was over before it had begun, fourth, fifth and sixth, id turned almost into a machine, i knew to gather Aria before hitting the first town, I knew which mobs dropped "Start a quest" items, I knew where to go, what to kill and fastest way there, so they went by insanely fast.
Having the same thing in Verteron now, what seemed to take forever 10-20 is now shooting by because I know which areas to go to. Its just an experience curve, once you have done the areas once, you have a feel for it, so know where to go. My sorc and Sm are currently in Eltent (sp?) and are leveling so fast that I cant even begin to understand my original frustration of the region. |

I decided to purely grind my way to 10. Took about ~2hours on a cleric.
When I quested with my warrior, it probably took ~6hours (but that was when everyone was jacking around in the newbie zone... had to wait 20min just to turn in a quest) __________________
