Warrior class: Gladiator vs. Templar

Pick one you favored and why. I pick a Gladiator because it can dish out some serious damage in PVP. The templar is great defense vs classes like Scout and maybe Mage. What's your reason you pick one over the other?

I chose Templar because I just love tanking classes. It's really a choice preferance. Glads are awesome though, and they level up quicker than Templars in the beginning. I'm got very bored with my Templar until level 15.

I played a Glad in beta and as much as i want to play one i find the Templar suits my style more.

I picked Glad as my main because I wanted to be dps for a change. I've been healer and tank in different games, this time I didnt want either of those. Tanking elites on my glad has been very fun this far though =x And I still love healing. Guess I'll just need lots of alts.

At first I was leaning towards the Templar side of things, thinking it would be fun being able to survive a lot of enemies at once, but in the end I think I am going to be going the route of the Gladiator since they are the main source of DPS. I find that being the center of damage dispensing is a great adrenaline booster, and can add a great excitement to the game-play of the user. In the end, it all depends on the user's desires - How they want to play the game.

voted Glad, although I have a 27 Templar.

very bored of him, dps is awful, and there's nothing at all to tank. Only thing to do in game is grind mobs, and tank 1 instance a day, having a tank class was a big mistake, just dont know if i can be arsed to reroll

i picked templar because they are fun as hell to play

they can unleash amazing combos and attack really fast, whereas glad is slowwww.

I chose the Templar. I just love telling the cleric/chanter: let that stupid assassin die... he should have waited for my pull as everyone else did... now he'll learn!!!

I'm a bit evil i guess...

I choosed Templar also. i like it sofar (lvl 22 at the moment)
shield procs can dish out a lot off damage, outdamaged a glad and a ranger who where on same boss as me with dp-skill and shield procs

Templar, im a tank and i can slaughter pretty much all gladiators of my own level.

I chose templar because it is a bit more versatile in my opinion. IMO, a templar can DPS better than a glad can TANK. And generally speaking, survivability is better in PvP than awesome damage. all biased opinion, of course

I went templar, just seems to have more of a leader role in the game, as well as in groups, fits my personality =P
