Ancient Asmodian's Soul Piece?

Apparently to make some of the more bada$$ weapons through weaponsmithing, you need some material called an Ancient Asmodian's Soul Piece.

Anybody seen this from a quest reward or a monster drop? Where do you get these things o.O

try the armory, but i've gathered and sold 3 or 4 of these in c-aion

been awhile so i forgot the name of the zone, but it's the ancient castle that was destroyed in the 2nd area you quest in...there's a lot of ghost guys and wind spirits, the drop rate is fairly low i'd say a few percent roughly...

impetusium in altgard

In Altagard, the most southern region.
Centurion or something like that...

The place is a fly zone and its filled with ghosts. The ghosts there drop these at a nice rate.

Impetusium > the ghosts there drop it. I got about 12 after going from 18-21 there.

Yup, best place ever to grind materials, there is everything you need in that place, only problem being there is no flight point or vendor >.<

The little rat thing at the base is a vendor.

you can fly in impetesium, you gotta fly up to the big crystal looking thing above the little camp and theres a bind point and soul healer. its the best grind spot for levels like 17-20

I like that area, was able to farm the mats for my Spear of the Demon.

i wish u could crafted in there outposts like altguard etc.

ooh yeah i pickup that rescipe also forget where tho might have been a reward for the crafting quests

They drop of the Ancient Spirits in the Impetusium in Altgard.

are you sure it didn't say you needed an Ancient Asmodian Codpiece?

I loved the armory for already having a source for the drop. It wasn't too bad of a rate when I ground out enough to not only make my own spear but also other weapons for legion-mates. Gave good exp as well item drops to make it barable. I hope higher lvl items require the same sort of item, however, but higher calibar. Perhaps a full soul instead of a piece? Ho ho. Good times.

I farmed the spirits in Impetusium, however at those levels, you gain levels so quickly that I was already looking at the next tier of weapons long before I had farmed enough soul pieces to make anything.
