Average Crit Rate

I'm trying to gather some data here to discover the average cost of what we should sell our weapons for. Anyways, in order to do that, I need people to post what they get on average for criting white->green, green->blue, blue->orange.

So far my rate is:
w->g 1/6 avg
g->b n/a
b->o n/a

If you guys could post what your average success is, then I'd appreciate it.

My white-to-green in titantium has been ~40%. But historically it was 25%.

My green-to-blue has been 100%, and that is with an unreasonably small sample size (2).

I'll not be manufacturing titan weapons again until mats prices settle on my server. In the meantime, I'm liquidating my materials inventory this weekend.

In tailoring making luxury leather I have about a 40% crit rate on that. This makes me believe that different type items are going to have different crit rates. For instance I was getting like 66% crit rate on boots but something stupidly low for a chest piece or weapon. What I have started doing is pricing my critted items 5 times the cost to make a non-crit at least that way I am guaranteed to get something back from all of this.

I also do 5 tries as well. Most of time I get at least 1 proc, sometimes 2-3 and only once I got none.

If I ever get like 5 no procs in a row i usually stop the crafting because there are going to be more no procs to follow. Thats when I wait a few minutes to start again and hopefull the RNG will be different.

So far, based off of what was posted in this thread and among other threads, the averages so far are:

w->g with 17% or 22 success out of 126 attempts
g->b with 21% or 6 success out of 28 attempts

However, I think there may be a slight skew as no one goes on a forum to express so-so results. Whether that's the case or not more data will be a big help.

As for a new approximation, I'd wager the real rate so far is 20% to upgrade a weapon as to the formerly though 25% chance to upgrade a weapon. A margin of error of -3/+3 seems fair.

It's been very random for me with 3-4/5 w->g sometimes and 1/10 at others. I can't make any sense of it.

Had an awful weekend. After 15 durable titan cycles: 14 whites, 1 green, 0 blues.

Legionmate did a single, 16-cycle run and his result: 16 whites.

Have started to quesiton whether something got screwed up with the last maintenance.

Lately, my success rate has also been terrible. Speaking of things that have changed since last maitenance, has anyone noticed the increased drop rate in High-Grade <insert mat name>? I was late leveling up my extracting, but I was still making a killing selling HG Aether Crystals, Titanium, and Gold before the last maintenance. Now, the prices for all of them have fallen through the floor. The drop rates have increased so it wouldn't surprise me if other rates have been "adjusted".

First Try
17 Attempts - > 16 whites, One Green
One Green -> No Blues

Second Try
2 Attempts - > One White, One Green
One Green - > No Blue

So 19 attempts 2 normal worthy weapons.

Is it possible we're seeing a lower crit rate because we're attempting to craft higher-level items?

The concern I have is that the white weapons are practically worthless and, unlike other tradeskills, sell back for less than the cost of NPC reagents in most cases. (Did you know that other crafters can make things and sell them to the NPC for a profit, even if they've purchased the mats???)

So, if they are not at least making it feasible to get past that initial hurdle, there could be deep problems.

You quoted two parts. Which one would you like me to elaborate on? :P
