anyone know about difference in traits on the same class but over the two races? the wiki isnt that clear on it

They are the same, except for some Divine Power skills. Some of them can be seen here: DP Skills Elyos VS Asmodians
But that's not all of them, and they probably will change.

what i am wondering about is that in the wiki article in the gladiators skill list is that the stun strike can be done while being equipped with a sword... how can you stun someone with a sword and moreover a gladiator whose dualwielding would be able to stun ? wouldnt that be an advantage for those who dualwield swords ?

and something else which is a question that meaby not suits here:can a gladiator or anyone alse dualwield axes or something else than swords ?

After studying the ThisIsGame.com's skill list a number of times throughout my past experience (with Google's horrible translation), I can tell you that the only dual-wielding weapon I know at the top of my head is the sword. Unfortunately, axes have never been announced. The closest you will get to axes will probably be the polearm.

And regarding skill specificity of weapons, I believe that most skills can be used with all the weapons the Gladiator can use -- however, take this with a grain of salt. I am still very unsure of my hypothesis.

Good! I doubt there will be many Gladiators dual-wielding sword because the general concensus believes that dual-wield swords are solely for the Assassin class. That's what I believe, at least.

yeah he is wearing dragonic (light) btw i have a couple of videos posted in the gladiators forum where both a gladiator who is dual wielding is shown and one who is wielding a twohanded weapon visit link to enjoy the vids

they are worth seing !!!

L2 = Glads are meant to DW

AION = Glads are meant to 2hander wield

Yes, but do keep in mind that Gladiators will have the ability to wield other weapons, such as the Sword & Shield without the help of Stigma. In other words, Gladiators have passive skills for other weapons -- not only two-handed weapons.

That's true and I already knew that, but the fact remains most of there skills are geared toward 2 handed weapons.

would be nice if someone from the cbt could help us but i think that a dualwielding glad in aion will be as effective as one with a 2h weapon....if you watched the videos the one dualwielding has a skill that reminds me to l2's gladiators sonic blaster so he can atack from quite a distance ! something that i have not seen from a gladiator wielding a 2h !

Flat edge or hilt. It's would actually be a common strategy in times where they used swords as weapons. Very accurate.
