Disturbing but quite realistic. Why isn't a warrior allowed to wear cloth-type armor? In reality you can wear what you want (literally).
From the lore/rp point of view you add Aether/magical essences enriched with Aether to the material that is later on used for armors.
So you have a solid explanation (assumption) that it's irrelevant which type of armor you use to get the same effect (aka stats) on different types of armor.

i agree with you haubix but a warrior should bring terror in the enemies sould....doubt he can achieve this while wearing robe
