Curse Flash Bogel Giveaway for NA Aion

Curse is celebrating the arrival of patch 3.5 through giving away some NA Aion pet codes for the lovely and colorful Flash Bogel. The Bogel is shown flying above with Nyx, whom has been kind enough to model it for us along with the Tiamat Chain, Mace, and Shield. This giveaway is for NA Aion only and will be done through the official Curse giveaway site:

There are a limited number of the pets, so it's a first come, first serve sort of thing. Please remember that this code WILL NOT work on Gameforge Aion and that the codes also do not work for those that go through the "Level Up" service in South America for the game.

Get Ready for NA Aion Patch 3.5


Patch 3.5 will be launching on the 10th of October, 2012 for NA Aion and it will feature several changes that make PvP more reminiscent of older open world PvP. Here is a pdf of the patch notes for the full English version that can be compared to the Korean patch notes for 3.5. Differences are likely due to the localization of names as well as any minor patches that may be included when the NA patch for 3.5 is launched.

The new patch features Tiamat's Stronghold, a 6 person instance.



The PvP oriented patch will feature a new type of rift, dubbed the "Dimensional Vortex" rift. These rifts are more rare than previous rifts and will go to Theobomos and Brusthonin. The Korean patch included making all rifts available to those level 60 and below, but the NA patch notes don't mention this at all. We have been given to understand that this is in the patch however, so make sure to go to the leveling server if you'd like to PvE in peace without an element of danger in your experience.



As expected, the patch highlights new housing, mounts, and legion levels. It also has information about a new level 60 Daevanion weapon quest obtainable from the NPC Kahrun and called "Siel's True Spear".
