Oh wait, it does!

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXZKI_XlcSE"]YouTube - NCsoft Aion on LG monitor[/ame]
(Going to the link allows you to see this in Full HD)

I don't know many details on this but it looks like a full blown LG advertisement featuring our favorite MMO-to-be. Maybe the gears of that ad campaign people are wondering about have started to turn. If that's the case, it may be bigger than we first expected. :)

Enjoy!

Its really awesome that AION is getting more adverts here in the US. Blizzard may be correct with them worrying about the up coming competition from NCSoft. Hopefully now AION wont fall flat on its face due to the rather immature and 4chan/weeabo like idiots of the AION community.

LG makes awesome products imo too. I've had my LG env2 for a long time now, and no problems.

Certainly is the most extravagant advertisement for PC monitors I've ever seen.

It's a double advertisement. Makes the monitor look like a superior product and makes the game look epic. However, there is no direct mention Aion in the advertisement.

I don't think it's actually needed. A person that see's the ad, will certainly think of the game even if no name is mentioned. Consider it like a "subliminal message"....It will make ppl think "O_O what the hell is that game?" so I think it suits Aion's marketing scheme pretty well actually :skip:

I have myself an LG 42" widescreen TV that I was using as my monitor while playing Aion. :D

EDIT: I forgot to mention that it was displaying in 1080p as well

I had a ViewSonic desktop monitor.. didn't like it. It'd random "lose signal" and display that No Signal crap. Ever since I started buying LG stuff, I've never had a problem with them.

I think when people check this commercial and like what they see on the monitor they will try to seek the game up wouldent be that hard i belive. But they should have put (Aion - the tower of eternity) when the monitor where black for like 20 seconds on the end.

But it's great that companys starts supporing this game, want to see more commercials like this in the future :)! rather run with my Samsung syncmaster though ^_^;

Adding this one for like 10-15 seconds "instead of the completely black monitor wouldent be that bad?"

I'll pass on the LG unless it's true 120Hz and works with nvidia 3d Vision.

Aion is *stunning* on my 22" Samsung in stereoscopic 3d. :D

Hmm, looks like a 23" monitor. Not particularly big these days. Quick Google search didn't show any US retailers, but it appears to be selling for just under $300 in the UK (using the overly general pounds-to-dollars conversion of 1 to 2).

I have a question, it's kind of on topic as it has to do with monitors, just not the LG one mentioned here... If I have a Samsung 42" 120hz Series 7 HDTV (which I do) and I go out and buy the Nvidia 3D glasses, is that all I need to see Aion in 3D? My TV has low, medium and high settings for it's 120hz function - will this matter? Do I need a certain graphics card?

Meh, this monitor has only a 16:9 ratio... useless for gaming, I prefer to stay with my 16:10.
