CE/Pre-order item availability.
Firstly we've finally gotten official confirmation on the availability of CE/Preorder items once in-game courtesy of our dear Ayase

Hey guys, I know you're possibly confused about this as we haven't made any announcements yet. I can however confirm that items will indeed be available to all characters across your account. For both the pre-order items and the Collector's Edition items, you can receive these items for every Aion character you create on the account. We will have more information on how it actually works for you shortly.
Hopefully that will put a lot of fears to rest for those of us with an obsession for alts! :D
Incase you forgot:
CE contents
Pre-Order contents.

Changes to 1.5? Details at last!
Meanwhile in the world of translations and patches TTB has been kind enough to translate some of the recent patch notes.
As you lot are probably aware 1.5 has been undoing some changes which we mentioned awhile ago, now we have a few more specifics on that!

The class changes look quite interesting, thank god Curse of Weakness isn't quite as useless now ;) Be sure to check it out.
Just to refresh your memory of the general changes from 1.0 to 1.5
Aion: Update 1.1
Aion: Update 1.2
Aion: Update 1.5
Sorry, taking the kids on a holiday!
Yeah right, we'll totally buy that story.
On a slightly less serious note (I like doing things in threes, sue me >.>) it seems a lot of our users here at Aionsource will be going on family vacations or falling mysteriously ill on September 20th or 22nd.
Purely co-incidence of course with the release of Aion, although admittedly a fair share of people will still be dragging their feet to work. Ten bucks says you lot used up all that vacation time for the preview events :D

And that about wraps it up for me this morning folks, take care and drive safely! (Assuming you leave your computer anytime soon... oh who am I kidding?)

No vacation for me, college wont like it.
who are they kidding ;)
Unfortunately no vacation time for me either as I'll be in college. But you can bet that I'll be on every day after classes/work, until wee hours of the morning!
your preview event code (which you should get by email if you purchased online) should provide you access to the Aion.exe (when you activate the code on your NCsoft Master Account) which will load NClauncher and any subsequent Aion patches long before release day. if you get the game in-store there should be some kind of game card with the preview event code on it.
The headstart just permits you to log in and have character creation, name reservation and gameplay 2 days before the scheduled released day (so for NA, Sept 20th is the 1st day of headstart).
As it reads the CE get some pretty cool items, which I have already ordered, but it seems they do not get the 2 day head start access. Is this correct?
Plain preorder = headstart
CE = starting on regular date?

Yes you would be correct... otherwise it would be pointless to get CE just for the items...
