Gear to level you to 50... help

I will do the Betoni quest in a day or so and that should wrap up the weapon part. I have the level 45 expert blue shield waiting for level 45.
I am level 44 as on now.
I am wearing 3 of the deva armors: Pants, Shoulders, Gloves
(couldn't take the chest at it was not remodel and i thought it really ugly)
I have the 30 gold abyss boots. I have the 23 blue chest armor. I have all the Lep acc for neck, ring, earring. I have abyss acc for the rest except for earring which is the event earring. I have the 30 abyss blue helm and i forget what belt i have.
So i thought i would try for the 43 blue armor which is why i waited till now (and the deva was supposed to be good till around 40 anyway). But i notice that it has no HP on it and actually the level 38 armor has HP on it.
I am not sure about grinding the coin to make blue level 38 gear when i am already level 44. I also don't really see better gear till level 48 blue gear.
With an eye on leveling to 50 what gear would you suggest? Should i get the 38 blue crafted and wear it to 50? It seems much cheaper to obtain. Should i just tough out the next four levels grinding coin for a level 48 set of blue crafted armor?
Are there quests or other instances i should be focusing on getting gear from?

you need 1000 plat coins per armor part and 2000 plat coins for the weapon. i would go only for chest and perhaps for legs. you can start grinding plat coins yourself at 47 in brusthonin - kill 51 mobs (or 54 depends on which quest you do), and get between 4-19 plat coins. endless repeatable. also farm some at your broker ^^
dont pay too much attention to gear, get 50, and then focus on a set. only 6 level to go. do instances - in draupnir cave you got a decent chance on blue armor drops, which are pretty nice for that level.
edit: i finally found the items on aiondatabase. they got another name there than ingame. Chain Greaves of Asmodian Army Elite Legionary Level 3 - Items - Aion and Hauberk of Asmodian Army Elite Legionary Level 3 - Items - Aion is what a refer to

My approach is to take however long it'll be until they raise the level cap (say 6 months), figure out how much AP I'm likely to grind over that timeframe (say 20k per week), and buy the gear that matches my budget. Because I don't have a huge amount of time to play, unfortunately, I reckon half a mil AP on lvl 30 elite gear is about me. Your mileage may vary - it would be nice to be able to afford the lvl40 gear, but, meh, whatever...just be realistic. 5 pieces of lvl30 elite is better than 2 pieces of lvl40 and 3 pieces of crap.

What did you guys level in?
Did you all just stack pretty much all HP or mix in some MB? I am noticing that after some rotations the mob will have just a sliver of health left and so i may stack a bit of MB and see if that clears it up. I am already pretty much always using the 40 MB and 40 MACC food.
I have betoni's and was also considering socketing two +85 HP stones and then two +?? MACC stones. I feel this way as when facing pvp whether or not my roots land often spell the difference between winning and losing more than an extra +150 HP or +170 HP would be.
Seems a bit of a no-mans land with armor at this level.

get mb in everything
buy cheap manapots
sub50 gear doesn't matter at all.
but the 41 gold warhammer does help from the quest
the rest matters not slightly, and the weapon matters just slightly.

Slashing wind really sped up my soloing killspeed, so I think an mboost set at that point is really worth it to speed along your kills. 43-48 flew by thanks to double XP weekends and thanks to me planning ahead and saving all my lodas amulets for high level, so I didn't upgrade my gear at all. At 48 I started spending all my money on angel's eyes and converting them to plat coins, and by 49 I had my body piece. Now I'm 50 and kinda wish I had that money back for miragent's, but I love my shiny lightning body so I don't really feel too bad about it (superficial, I know, but at least the stats are nice too).
Now that I'm 50 I've been stocking up on consumables before I take the plunge into miragent's (still have to do the last campaign chain too, I've had the means to do it just haven't bothered). I'm leveling alchemy to hopefully save money on pots and scrolls, but meh it's still expensive to keep stocked on those. Luckily soloing in DP and soloing balaur guards at upper forts is decent money. Plat coin calydon repeatable is alright too, but I sell the eyes and coins now cause I think the money would be better spent going for miragent's, even if you aren't 50 yet.

or use your old armor for mboost (remember the manastone remover?) when you get new armor parts. so you got your hp set for partys/instances and your mboost set for solo stuff. since solo mobs usually cannot kill you, you dont need big hp there.

Do the weapon quest for your templer/gladiator/chanter and get the Courageous Shield. The stats on the shield are FAR superior to what your current shield has, and out of all the gear you could get the shield is the one that would last you to 50 without causing you any trouble.
As for leveling to 50 in Mercy, it's not a horrible idea. The bonus stats on the Mercy gear scale really well.
