Also, wouldn't it be quite gay, if casted Sleep Storm = instant win? This is not, what I think, this game should work like. Okay, it is gay, that you can't do **** about MR stackers, but hey, at least you can start to feel like a Templar right now. Without the ability to fight on range at all, getting kited by almost every class.
MR needs a little fix, that's all. Capping it on abt. 30-40% would be ok and balanced. So quit whining and start complaining as you are customers and require a reconsideration of magic related skills.

Aoe fear is much worst yet is not an istant win.
Why should SS be that ?
Rangers can stack MRES without nerfing anything.

The fact that players can switch out there gear on a whim, means they don;t have to sacrifice those stats UNLESS they are fighting a magic class. In that case, swapping over to MR and resisting a high percentage means that a slightly lowered DPS or HP doesn't really matter. They will still dominate the magic class. After they kill the said magic user, they can simply switch back to their normal armor. They do not have to sacrifice these stats when fighting any other class.
The typical response to this is that I can create a MAcc set to switch to. This would work if MAcc actually helped, but the best from this is bringing the resists down near a level of where Evasion CAPS at.... give me a break...
IMAGINE if physical DPS classes had to stack massive amounts Accuracy just to get dodges down to 30-40%, while giving up all of their crit/HP/attack. There would be OUTRAGE over that. This is the same thing but with magic.

You have 1142 Macc that is with betonis tome, when I have 1197 Mresist with some lvl50 accessories and in full miragent. So yeah please tell me how do I resist naturally your spells? With mira/fenr weapon you get like 1400Macc.
lvl50 glad 1073MR, lvl50 templar 1075MR, lvl50 ranger 1256MR, lvl50 sorc 1334MR, lvl50 SM 1219MR
Your spells don't get resisted unless you are facing a MR stacked cleric.

Screw my argument then. But are there macros allowing to switch equipment? I am always screwing about, when switching from MB to HP quickly and vice versa.
Also you can get +360 MA when in full MA Equipment (giving you those 1700 MA, you want so desperately). HP and MB are both relatively low, but ok considering we are a magic class (and really, magic does not include dps all the time, esp. when we have so many CC skills at hand). Our dps should be okay compared to a SM still awesome, when in full PvP jewelry.
Imho, people are extremely overdramatizing. All in all, Aion is quite balanced. There may be some/many flaws in low level, but it evens out okay on Lv 50. Yes, in Korea Sorcerers are worth crap, but you know. Those people practically have to LIVE their game as having a quarter of our ep.
And Aion isn't as balanced as Starcraft is, it can't be, because different guys spend different amounts of time on that game. I know people, that are able to pull of a 14h gaming day on a REGULAR basis. It's about effort, and stuff. That is the reason, why I switched from Templar to Sorcerer. First one suck on low level/low equipment, but shine on endgame gear, second ones are lowlevel beasts and easy to play, but tend to get weaker on end game. But hey, I do not plan to play Aion for the next 2341039 years, I want my fun now.
When fun is over, I am gone. So, please, it is a game, when it isn't fun for you, just leave quietly. It is just good manners. On a evening of monopoly, when I am pissed and want to go home, I am certainly not throwing my figure away, shouting, this sucks, without having the Park Alley, I CAN'T OWN YOU, pushing the board around and leaving the room disgruntled, twittering: "Monopoly sucks, see ya."
Or do you? :jealous:

Yes you can macro your equipment change to a single key press. It's as simple as dragging the equipment into the macro window. You have to be out of combat, so just put a /Combat (orwhatever the command is, I forget atm), for an "in-combat" single key press equipment swap.

Wow. So, making a statement about how a game could improve, with evidence and reasoning equates to bitching about a board game? This is not a parlour game, it's a game people spend months on and it's expected that it will change over time. I have given my input about what I believe to be a mechanic that needs adjusting. It is one of the main reasons I am leaving a game that would be fun with some changes.
I get that kind of response so often when I criticize things. If I were to "leave quietly" that would not be constructive. In order for things to change, they have to be discussed. You may not agree with me, but that doesn't mean that I shouldn't express myself. If you don't like me doing that, don't read my threads.
I don't want to "OWN" things. I just want the game to be fair and fun for everyone. Right now there all sorts of glaring problems that are turning people away every day. I've seen so many friends leave since I started at launch. All I want is to help save the community, and for that to happen, we need game tweaks.
To be fair, my original post is a bit dramatic and pessimistic, with the "I quit!". However, I made it that way to show that I'm very upset, and to raise awareness about a big issue.

With full Fenris Sorc macc is like 1300. And this isn't as much because of the weapon as it is because Fenris/Miragent has some Macc as a set bonus.
And see here for some real Mres examples:

Aion™ Online :: Character & Legion Sorc with fenril weapon. He has 1413 Macc.
So (1457MR - 1413Macc) / 10 = 4.4 (shugi has 4.4% chance to resist nukes from ekke)

Willing to bet he slots Macc since it's just not possible to reach 1413 from set only. Too bad on-site profile doesn't show manastones for Fenris (bug?).

Belt (19), Rings (30), Earrings (44), Necklace (30), Set bonus 3 (36), Set bonus 5 (54), Weapon (47), Food (50) = 310
