You lost me somewhere along the line.
Firstly those fullpage ads float around the Curse network from time to time but you should never see them if you're logged into the site.
Secondly I fail to see how this is relevant to us changing forum software ;o Bearing in mind we have a Site Feedback forum for any issues/inquiries regarding the website as a whole.

no but I'm puttin in a petetion for all subscriber labeled people to have read-only permissions to the forums. I have over 9000 signatures now.

Relevant: I had a http://www.ffxivcore.com/ account prior to their migration to IP (not sure if they had VB before). It just had me log in with my Curse account login and it auto-merged my previous FF Core account with my curse account (using the email address as a baseline so people might want to be notified that if they use a different email address for curse than the do with aionsource they may have unique complications)
In the process the only things I lost were my signature and my avatar. My galleries were still up (what ho good sir I tested as much as I could with their migration as user :P)
AND!!! THE BESTEST THING OF ALL IS THAT MY BIGGEST PET PEEVE WAS AVOIDED.
The "Display Name Change History" link doesn't show a change between your curse login to your profile name. It autonamed me to my original http://www.ffxivcore.com/ name (Sardoni) and had no record of my curse ID *sparkles*

Yeah I had a little sneak look over there today actually at their community response to the change.
I wonder if our lot will be as loving and forthcoming with their "Great job guys!" as them... hrm
Oh and I've spoken to Alex about avoiding your utmost of fears Sardoni, we should be able to preserve the embedded youtube videos that appear wherever you tread.
