Hey guys, as you may have noticed we have upgraded our website has undergone a little change as far as forum software goes.

Because of this change there are naturally going to be new bugs, issues, mixups and forgotten settings that we will need to address. Suggestions to the new site as a whole are also welcome

On that note please feel free to let us know if anything's bothering you, constructive criticism mind you - facerolling will be deleted xD, and we'll address it to the best of our abilities.

Update Notes:

• Login Authentication bug should be fixed.
  
• Redirect loops should be gone.
  
• Investigating a registration bug, unable to reproduce at this stage. Possible cause of registration/migration bug for some users may have been found, will be addressed shortly. Hopeful for a quick fix. Possible fix applied for Registration bug, awaiting user feedback.
  
• Shoutbox should no longer be appearing for users.
  
• Blogs should now be accessible.
  
• Categories cannot be viewed directly, looking into that. Doesn't effect functionality though so low priority.
  
• Youtube videos embedded previously are now just text, they will be fixed in the near future. URLs posted from now on will embed as per usual though.
  
• Aion-themed emoticons will be re-added tonight.
  
• Gallery should now be accessible.
  
• Report feature fixed.
  
• Edited By: field is unstyled, will be fixed in the near future. Updated
  
• Some additional user profile fields missing, investigating.
  
• Old PMs may be marked as unread and shuffled, looking into it.
  
• As requested unread threads will now display in bold text for greater visibility.
  
• Manually uploaded an entire new series of emotes, former tacky (white border) emotes have been removed.
  
• Emails default to hidden now.
  
• Dev tracker is fixed.

When you try to use the Blogs function in the menu this happens:

Also, anything that has images, videos or any other kind of media shows up as a half finished post because the codes changed. Not really a bug, but it is haunting the stickies.

Hrm I get the same errors even though I have read access to those catagories, will look into that further once things settle down. Also feel free to add me on MSN Raptorg.

If you're referring to youtube videos we will be fixing all the broken ones tomorrow hopefully, just need to run a script. Other media (images) should be fine, if not a link would be appreciated.

You could rework the icons a bit so they actualy have a propper background color in the alhpa channel used.



Or swap to a set that already has,
just makes it look a bit cleaner

Well I noticed if you hide the completely pointless recent thread bar on the right side, you can get the index page looking close to normal but the thread lists still look way too cramped and unorganized. I don't really see how this is an upgrade aside from the faster response (which is server related, has nothing to do with IPB vs VB)

I love this new forum. Apparently every single function in the entire thing requires an individual permission to be set.

That's way better, not exactly as good as it used to be but much easier to read than before.

Every user avatar shows only 10%, the top of everyones avatar on the rightside, nobody has the full one for me, also, as i am typing this, and this only happens 70% of the time but the styles and fonts and spell check bar is in the center of the reply window, meaning if i type more than 6 lines, i have to blindly type under this formatting bar until my text pokes out through the other side. a couple times i have not had this here, but its blocking things right now.

Like this, i cannot see what im typing because im typing through the justification menu, also my avatar has turned into a gravatar i set up 4 years ago with no intent to really use for aionsource, no setting is listed and use gravatar is not selected so i have no idea why it is selcted... again, cant see what im typing because its covered......

Strange, are you using Firefox? It sounds like you have NoScript running and are blocking Aionsource.com

If not please provide your browser/version and any addons you're running.
