Im looking forward to this in the patch, I have Fenris GS, Plat coin GS, and soon to be one of the pvp GS's (prob just the lvl 30 one)

Now with the 8% dmg that comes from the pvp sword, it would make sense that this would be my best bet to combine with one of the other two golds I have. Plus the 6 additional slots.

What seems odd though is that a lvl 30 gold would be better to combine with over a lvl 46 gold.

I havnt added anything up but is that 8% definitely better than the outcome of the two higher leveled swords?

Anyways, what two weapons is everyone else here going to combine come patch?

In general most people are going to go for an extendable and a pvp weapon. With that said be careful when choosing what to combine. Remember you get 20% of the attack of the secondary weapon, which means if you go for a low damage weapon just for the pvp set bonus you might end up sacrificing a fair amount of damage.

Realistically I would combine Bakharama's Spear with Elite Archon Tribunus (50 Elite Gold Pvp) Spear.

Most likely since I don't have Fenril's or near the abyss points I will end up going for my coin weapon with lannoks, since it seems to be the most viable option. Just remember when you combine a spear you can recombine it later if you upgrade to better stats. Just make sure whatever one you use as the base spear is one you want to keep for a specific reason. Lannok's Spear is my best candidate due to the extendable and I'll just be upgrading as they come along. Most likely will go from coin, to anuhart (if I can get the drop), to fenrils, to 50 pvp. Seems like the long way to go but in general it'll be a fairly natural progression for me. Although I probably won't get all of them, but that would be the natural order of hierarchy. The one thing I probably will not sacrifice is loosing a bunch of attack for a pvp bonus since I don't want to gimp either pvp or pve.
