Hello, Aion Source.
I know you've probably seen a few issues around here related to the "ID or Password does not match". I did quite a bit of searching and found threads on multiple forums related to that error, sadly none of the 'fixes' worked for me.
I bought the STEAM CE awhile back and played for the first month, no problems. I haven't played since that first month and today decided to re-subscribe and give it another shot (which included reinstalling the game and all the updates - no problem there though).
Eeverything is good to go, account wise and update wise but I'm unable to actually login. I get the following message after I enter my username and password: "ID or Password does not match". I've double checked my Aion Account Username and Password, and even reset them and tried again, no luck. I've done the same for the NCSoft Master Account, no results. I also changed the Launcher to 'Europe', as suggested in a few FAQs and troubleshooting guides, no results. I even changed it back to North America and I'm still getting the following message when I try to login.
I resubscribed at 11AM this morning and it's now 3PM and I'm still unable to log into the game (can't even login to the official forums). I looked around and didn't see anything about server down time. I also submitted a ticket via NCSoft support and have yet to receive a response.
I figured while I was waiting I'd see if this community could be of service. Hopefully I'm just missing something very, very silly.
