Would any of you fine Aioners who have capped characters tell me your story to getting to the big 50 from 49?

As an elyos, I've been grinding at the wonderful Indradu grind spot for the past few levels. Not that grinding for hours isn't fun or anything, but after an hour of grinding at level 49, with rest exp, and a lodas amulet (total of +50% extra exp) I only got one full bubble of my whole exp. bar. I might not be looking at this the right way, but that leaves me to wait at least a day for the next 19 days before I can hope to see 50. Not sure what you think, but half a month of striaght grinding for just ONE level seems a bit much. ^^;

So tell me oh wise 50s of Aion, HOW DID YOU DO IT?

I spent 4 hours(1 hour a day for 4 days) and utilized my lodas+resting exp, grinding in Marla Cave. No big secret beyond that. Craploads of mobs(I just ran in circles around the center pond killing bats/spiders/centipedes) and pretty much 0 competition for mobs outside the occassional quester that stumble in there. Dunno how it works for a ranger, but for an SM with DP pet buff+stigma buff and a load of odellas and some MP regen food, it worked out just like that.

You are doing something wrong. When I hit 49 I found a remote location in theobomos and grinded and got to 50 the same day.

From 46 to 50... i didn´t grind at all, just once or twice a day Dredgion... those last 4 levels were easier to lvl than the ones before. Just do what you like, go some instances, do some pvp and enjoy not being 50^^

Roughly 6~8hours(cannot remember exactly) of pure nyerkty plat coin grinding during double exp. As a cleric so imagine how slow that went

49>50 was faster than 48>49, and 48>49 was faster than 47>48.

Dunno, why but 47>50 was much faster than 40-47 for me.

saved all my main quests till 49 then did them all for 30mil xp. then grinded out the rest on 45 elites.

Lv 49-50 in 1 day seems a little TO fast, not everybody is a freak

I suggest doing instances(dredgion+steel rake) and grind in Brusthonin/Theobomos, dont focus to much on that 1 level, and just have fun while doing instances, u'll be 50 before u know it.

It really isn't with double exp. Double exp makes it carebear and depending your class you can do 49->50 in 5~8hours or 8~12hours(Again I don't remember how long it took over the weekend to do that). Completely doable over the double exp weekend if you're casual or not. If not during that then well.. out of luck. lol

Do fortress runs, alot of SR (very good xp!), grind in between, dredgion also helps alot.

I did a slew of my primaries I had left for chunks of 5, 7, 3 mil XP, etc. I also did Steel Rake and Indratu during double weekends. I got the last 4 bubbles of XP grinding it out in Theobomos, near the Theo Labs entrance.

It sucked.

Calydons arent that bad, when you can do coins and actually use the exp. It's worse when you need to grind kinah, and all that exp goes to waste

Zombie quest in brusthonin. 20 kills for 1mil exp reward. Repeatable 10 times.
Couple capmpaigns I saved.

Couple DCs.

49-50 is only hell if you focus on getting to 50 too much. Just do what you would usually do, mix it up, do some instances/dreg/plat coins and ul be there in no time =p
