Look at this:






I can see monsters and some NPCs. But I cant see even one character. Is there any lacking file or what?

Help! Im craving to Play Aion Normaly .hmm

Im Using Laptop and it met the Requirements, except the processor.

Hmm, how lagy id it for you to play? And also, make sure you didnt hit Shift+f12. I would also check settings ingame. If none of that works, check files for consistency.

Lag? uhmm ,, it was quite fine at all .. what about shift+12? ....can u tell me what are the settings?

Press o and then hit options and make sure the box called fixed fsp isnt on.

It seems it's not rly loading any of those textures ... weird...

What GFX do you have ? Have you ever run rivatunner ( a tweaking program that sometimes removes rendering of certain textures )

Have you tryed updating drivers / repairing client ?

I found something. In the Folder objects->monster .."Mesh_Meshes_010.pak" is missing ..can we say that this has something to do with this missing file?

It could be related to that.

Well try to do a full repair to the game with ncsoft launcher.

Then find information on what Graphic card do you have and post it here so we can get you some new drivers ( maybe it's related to that )

you didn't mess with any aion files did you?

this kind of happened to me when i try the enhenced graphic settings for the system.ovr, there is a guide about that on this board.
if i enter a new area with mobs, it wouldn't show them or at least take ages to load them. wierd if you suddenly take dmg out of nowhere :S
pro-tipp: don't try this in elite area's lol...

i have not yet found out which command exactly does it, i will eventuelly get there once i find some time after i got to 50 on pts =P

so if you use a system.ovr file, just rename it and also make sure to delete the system.cfg, your settings will then reset to the default ones.
and furthermore, don't touch it unless you know what your doing ^^



if you didn't touch any files, my guess would be your system is too low/weak for aion, hence it won't be able to process all the information and display the world entities on your screen. in that case, consult your pc hardware dealer of confidence and get yourself a new rig xD

you should have it on 4k + value , it starts to bug. Try a 3096 value or simply just delete that command.

Also don't copy paste aleste system.ovr , it's filled with broken non working commands. In the end I have my system.ovr file with about 13 lines total , and trust me there aren't that much of aspects you can change in this game by using cvars.

Also cryvision = 1 is the cause for bad shadows in-game but you shoudn't have that or you would have noticed

Just delete it , cryengine freaks out when it has more textures that he can handle and simply doesn't render them :/

It should remove that bug.

Try to repair or fully reinstall the game.

Dont worry about the ram , it has nothing to do with that , aion should run with 512Mb of ram ( stuttering yes ) but run with all graphics beeing rendered.

It will check all files to see if they are correct , 1 by 1 , if it finds a missing file or changes in these files it will donwload and re-install them.

It basically checks your instalation for errors and repairs them , it's much like a re-install
