I am new to the asmo side, I re rolled from elyos to asmo when got bored of doing the elyos instances.

One thing I miss is Azoturan Fortress, it has NO cooldown and the bosses have a chance of dropping blue and gold accesories and armor such as shields.

You can normally clear these bosses in at least 45 mins, and reset the instance in the same way you do for fire temple.

The only problem is, it's in heiron so mostly only popular to elyos, where they need to enter this instance for campaign quest fragments of memory 3.


HOWEVER now in 1.9 they have removed all entry quests to these instances and increased the drop rates, will any asmodians be doing the instance? (or any MORE elyos now interetsed?)

Some examples of the drops;

oh and, the gold shield rm-56B has decreased hate, its a cleric shield but aion armory does not have "decreased hate" stat in their database.. for some reason.. only has "increased".

Call me pig ignorant, but as an Asmodian I don't even know where the entrance to Azoturan fortress is, I suppose its the Elyos varient of Alquimia labs?

No, elyos can enter Alquimia (in fact its part of the xeno weapon).

Azoturan is an unique instance which is part of a campaign quest. The asmos most likely have an equivalent instance, but i have no idea which one it is.

Hint: it also doesnt show on the instance timer screen.

RM drops both shields, + and - hate.

So it's the mirror instance for "Underground, thingie thing." So I suppose, there isn't a mirror instance. Tbh, that dungeon isn't that interesting even with increased rates.

See it like this, you have an insane Blood source in Barkarma, we have this short looty instance (prefer Barkarma tbh).

And correct, there is no equivalent asmodian instance to this.

So, regardless of the easy gold items you can now farm, some people won't go becuase it's "boring" ? really?

(ps. even before the patch, elyos can re-enter azo fort as many times as they want afer completing fragment of memory 3)

I suppose we have the Sky Temple as part of our FT attainment quest where as the Elyos just have to farm a key, I suppose this is similar.

Well I think most people would prefer the balaur, simply, because on my server at least, there is big money to be made from balic mats. I guess if you had the right legion they would be up for the trek to Herion, but most Asmo's probably haven't even heard of Azoturan, let alone know where it is in Herion unfortunately.
