Armorset will be for PvE only, Weapon will be PvP and PvE

If they are both on the same character, then alchemy without a single doubt. You can easily expert tailoring on a secondary character for a fraction of the price it would take you to expert alchemy.

Hes asking which to master so he can make the "carved" armors (which are soulbound upon crafting). So having an alt with it isnt any use.

You haven't looked at the set I suppose.. some are actually good.

That is true, but future patches you could easily redo the alchemy test(LOLOL right?) if the 500+ contain tradable consumables.

Now you got more acc and slightly better stats.
Now the book

+82 more MB and again slightly better stats. Having master carved items doesn't seem to bad. I'm ganna try for the entire chain set.

and I think the carved armor (cloth at least) might also be good for pvp, bc there is a lot of m.res and phys. def on em. gawd, i am so not sure what to do.. -.-

Weapons always have been more difficult to craft than armor. But, they sell for much more as well.
Take the 19% Castspeed Orb for example. That thing is really awesome. Even the blue version has 19% speed already so you only need a double-proc and then a non-proc on the Expert version for a guaranteed sell with which you'll probably make profit already, let alone what happens if you actually triple-proc or more.

i'll probably go alchemy... because even expert blue->gold tailoring gloves have cast speed in it... so i can craft them even NAU and sell them for a good amount of money
and this game teaches me that a good weapon is harder to achieve compared to a good armor...
also with the weapon merge, a pve weapon can now be a pvp one as well...
also a weapon is more representative for a character than the armor... and using a Haine's Darkwater Tome as a weapon is priceless
for the armor... i'm really confused...
ofc the best pvp armor around is the elite 50... but for casters they added this cast speed gloves thing... that is making me wonder...
dunno if going full elite 50 (8% attack speed 140 mboost, 40 m accuracy) or only 3 elite 50 pieces and then cast speed gloves and new pauldrons/boots?
also, i saw many koreans wearing full eternal instead of pvp armor even for pvp
damn, how could it be? is eternal armor THIS damn good to even crush the pvp bonus in usefulness?
... guess we will have to see how the metagame will turn and act in response...

here is the robe for example compared to pvp armor:
http://www.aiondatab...1098;110101101;
look at the phys. def , m.res and hp difference. I don't know the math but I wonder if that will make up the 5% dmg reduce of the pvp robe. the carved armor also is lvl 53. enraged mastarius/veile's are 55 and hav even better stats.
I think I am going to wait before I decide what to master depending on dropluck and server situation concerning how easy it'll be to get mastarius/veile's quest stuff.

If you don't have full lvl 50 elite gear yet I wouldn't bother getting it now. If you have it and still want to go full pvp gear, I think 3/5 elite + 55 chest & gloves are a good choice. But if you break the 5/5 set bonus you could also go full lvl 55, bc the difference is marginal.

I know, the eternal PvP stuff won't be available right away, but I'm sure the eternal PvE stuff will be a pain in the ass to get as well.
Not if you're rich and saved up 100mil. Could probably have 2 pieces by the end of the week.
