Seriously, what's the deal NcSoft? I think it is utterly stupid to have a game based so heavily on which faction you choose, that you are not letting people choose which one they want to be. I really wanted to roll an Elyos on Isrpahel because I had friends from school on both Lumiel and Old Israphel, so it worked out perfectly. Then, when I buy the game on 2.0's release, IT WON'T LET ME MAKE AN ELYOS. That is just bs in my opinion, for the should pre-warn you that it won't let you be what you want. In all honesty, wow is horrible, but they never did something like this to the community. The only server it will let me make an Elyos on is Vaizel, and guess what? I have no need for playing on that server. Before people start flaming me, please recognize this as a serious statement and question to NcSoft, because it totally ruined my experience. I spoke to NcSoft customer service, AFTER 2 HOURS OF WAITING, WHEN I STARTED 4th IN QUE /WTF. I spoke to a representative and he said that the locks were due to the free server transfers, and the glitches of some account having two factions on one server. THIS MAKES YOU HAVE TO LOCK ELYOS CREATION WHY? And on top of that, everyone hates and flames the free transfers anyways. If you want my sub back, you'd at least let me have to BUY a paid transfer to New Israphel, which is quite sad. I write this post with no intention of knocking down NcSoft (Notice, soft not "Suck", your welcome.), but writing that is simply pointless since most of the community on here will flame me anyways, judging by other posts. If anyone has an info as to when the locks will be up, much appreciated!

Those stats don't mean jacknyerk. They include a level 1 who quit a week after launch and a Level 55 who is still playing today.

The only reason I'm playing this mmo is because I have a lot of friends on it, who I recently had to leave as I moved with my father's business. So please, STFU, and actually play the game, since you can how you want it. Go away, you're as unwanted here as you were when the nurse first handed you to your mom.

Oddly enough he is correct. Letting people do whatever they want is why faction balance is totally screwed. Simple way around it.

1. Find a server to create the desired faction
2. When server x-fers open up on like a thursday transfer said character to desired server
3. Cross your fingers and hope it works!

I'm just trying to say, that while it may have some effect on server balance, most people don't make it and stay long enough on this game anyways. I'm saying that, they have so many other easy oppurtunities to fix server balance, that why should they shut one faction's creation completely? This game is kinda ADVERTISED on the fact of CHOOSING your race and fighting for it. So, it should be completely out of the question to just shut down the character creation for new players. Instead, they could just lock it for previous players who have 5 lvl 1 name reservers, and let new players who would actually play till 55 to get a chance. Other wise, this game is dropped for me, which NcSoft kinda doesn't need with all the 2.0 unsubs, which by your argument, would cause even more of a server inbalance, and virtually no pvp (if it isn't bad enough anyways).

NCSoft is getting more subs then unsubs with 2.0. You can trust me on that so some guy nyerking and moaning he can not create an Elyos on a server packed with them will not be missed.

Deleting the inactive level 1 chars surely will help the 600vs200 E:A situation (give or take) indeed

i didnt mind the server transfer so much, but that NCSoft didnt lock server transfers for atleast 6 month after the merge was just totally stupid, why in the world would you do a merge and then still allow people to be able to do transfers, kinda defeats the purpose of a merge, GG NCSoft. And then adding so people cant choose which faction they wanna play, come on NCSoft, can you be more unorganized.

Please QQ about server imbalance on another thread, this thread is about the lock, and how it is affecting my personal experience. Plus, but that other post I was trying to say most of the Elyos are total carebears who don't make it to max level to kill your pvp experience anyways.

you qq about race restrictions which is linked to server balance. So indirectly you're QQing about server balance
