Hello i recently came back to aion and funny enough created a templar because there was too many dam glads in my server and non of my friends wanted to create one. Anyways after hitting level 30 i found it to be one of the most fun classes in aion, and even though i was enjoying it i thought glads would be better. Now i am level 30 glad after rerolling and find glad a bit boring. Don't get me wrong getting occasional 1.5k crits is fun but after a while its all the same and feels like a drag. Anyways I am having the idea to go once again back to templar but it sucks i spend a ton of time crafting:
level 199 armorsmith and 150 weapon, some of you might find this low but it took em forever to get those dam recipes.

Should i even bother re-re-rolling? templar was extremely fun with all the stuns/knockdown/interrupt enemy o boy do i love using these skills like guild wars mesmer, enemy using a skill and bam you c... block the enemy lol. with glad its just skill spam and weaving if you in mood for it. Only advantage is having bow because it sucks on templar everyone runs from you and you can't do anything about it. So far i am 3/5 on daevonian armor so making other won't be waste of time.

Hows clerics dps anyways? its a bit of templar mixed in it, but everyone says its boring and on israphel server cleric is the highest used class next to the OP sorc.

Anyone gone from glad to cleric or temps? one reason i didn't liek temps was the stigma were kind of crappy in comparison to glads which almost all are useful.

I've gone temp->glad nad I'm happy with it. There is much more fun (with decent gear ofc) and risk with glad at 50-55 than temp.

I've played both class's to the highest lvl and with top end game gear.

I preferred templar in the end because well :| i hit fairlly good, far from the gladiator ofc but all the surviving skills make me love it. Also i like to have fun running with World Boss's on my ass and checking Tears of Luck for my friends.

I have a 50 Templar but stopped playing a little before 1.9 and now I am back after 2.0 and rolled a Gladiator. Notice my Gladiator has 5 Courage Pieces (complete set bonuses) and the Daevanian weapon. Now she's 35.

So far my experience with my Glad is positive and I just feel sad for wasting my time leveling up my Templar (BORING). Let me try to mention the good thing and bad things about both classes. Notice my glad is only 35 and templar is 50.

Gladiator Pros:
1. Aggro is ten times easier by only dishing out damage and nothing more (but you need defensive preparation self buff)
2. AoE - which with a good healer makes you not need any CC and kill mosnters much faster
3. Dungeon Runs are Faster and Smoother, tanking as Gladiator
4. Soloing is more fun

Gladiator Cons:
1. I can't can't think of anything

Templar Pros:
1. Survivability in both PvE and PvP (even though 99% of the time in PvE survivability for templars is an overkill and not needed)
2. IJ IJ IJ IJ IJ.. that stigma is the #1 thing I miss about Templars

Templar Cons:
1. Low dmg makes your dungeon runs slower
2. You need the aggro stigmas (2 of them probably) which generates aggro only (a waste in soloing PvE or PvP)

I don't have a GS build for my templar thinking that Aggro Stigmas + Sword and Shield are the way to go for PvE groups and that's what I do 90% of the time. So, if GS and dmg built for templars is better then there's a flaw in the game's system...

1. Atleast 5minutes of your life extra wasted in pve! ohnoes
2. Nope, and you can always switch them when you go pvp/grind
