Just because you found someone who didn't know what an item was worth before people knew how rare recipes would be, does not mean that recipes nowadays aren't extremely rare and sell for crazy amounts.

An expert drenium mace (which is possibly the least desired weapon type) recipe was recently put on the broker, and quickly sold for 12 million. I fully expect to pay 15-20 million (or more) for an expert drenium sword recipe, and 30+ for any Master recipes. Even then, it's not just a matter of money, but finding anyone that has the recipe for sale in the first place.

Pre 2,0 I bought the Design: Recovery Potion for a whopping 10K from the broker ( I got lucky :P )
Mostly it sold for 600k-1,2M so yes indeed, you just need to be lucky and watch the broker every day a couple of times

Again, you might get lucky and snag a design for cheap from someone who doesn't know what it's worth, but there are a lot of people looking for these expert designs on my server. Even at high prices, they won't stay up for sale for long. Anyone who knows what these designs are actually worth is going to be charging crazy amounts for them.

Indeed : getting the designs (and I know a lot about it as I got ALL 1.9 designs for armorsmith and tailor, and now 90 % of the 2.0 designs) is a matter of stalling brokers, again and again and been lucky.

I found Expert Hocca gloves, a recipe I thought I get last and for 10 KK, for 1.5 kk around 3 AM on brokers. Just luck and methodically checking when potentially interesting.

The best is when you spam trade chat that you're looking for a design for weeks, only to see it on the broker for half of what you were saying you'd pay for it. Kind of wish I had an iPhone so I could use that app to stalk the brokers for the remaining recipes I need.

On that note, does anyone know if Master Drenium weapon designs actually drop, or if you can only get them from the master quest? I'm kind of at a loss; I knew someone who was going for Master Polearm, so I decided to go Master Sword and we could trade off. But now he's quit, and I'm stuck with no one I know for Master Polearm =( Ideally I'd buy the design myself (presumably for many tens of millions of kinah). Speaking of which, if there is anyone working towards Master Weaponsmithing and would be willing to sell me their design when they reach it, I might be willing to fund your craft. Of course I'd be willing to do any Master Sword / Polearm combines you want for free, and at a higher skill since I've already been making red crystals for a couple weeks.

I bough dagger design and got sword from quest
and now if someone needs can craft both
Also seen few gold weapon designs drop (info chat)

I hit 501 after 15 crystals. To be 503 he must have gotten master very, very shortly after 2.0 launched. I can't imagine he was able to do it that quickly without guild help, but maybe he's just rich... who knows ^_^

Yep early after the release (3-4 days)... Bought all balaur mats and my guildmates gave me what they got.
I have also crafted 4 490-500 crafts, + red crystal everyday => 503

Do 490+ crafts give craft xp to Masters? I was under the impression it was 500+ (but then, I suppose I haven't made anything 490-499 yet).

You have no idea how jealous I am that not only can you make two crystals a day, but your crystals are actually worth more than their base components too.

I am not so sure I can sell the white crystals I won't need, even if handicrafters will definitely need it for their bows and staves. As for the blues, yes their are worth something, but I am nowhere close to have spare for sale.

By the way I reached 502 after I crafted Master Drenium Breastplate (and around 35 crystals before that + my master chain pauldrons)

I allready failed two blue crystals grrrrr...
