Alright heres the story. I'm in no way a bad sorc. I have enough skill to take down people who out gear me and out level me. And from 30-40 i did not think of gear much at all. I mean i was rolling around in greens/blues and roflstomping people in crafted golds. But after 40 i started to realize that people started to kill me with relative ease and my burst dmg started getting lower and lower. Little did i know that most of the people i've been fighting are in full ap gear +10. Now i'm in 35 blue gear, so people in 40e+10s are going to destroy me without a doubt. What i need to know is, what gear should i buy to combat this? I don't farm ap so abyss gear is pretty much out of the question(with the exception of accessories). I've asked on the aion forums and all the people there say "get ap gear" or they troll me so hard i have to take a shower to get the smell of bulls*** off me. A friend of mine told me you guys are pretty helpful over here so i decided to ask. I'm a 41 sorc and leveling. I'm an Asmo on NA Zikel so i am going to need something good enough to beat a Full ap geared elyos or a group of 4 moderately geared elyos(thats all i can seem to find now adays). Money is not a problem.

Best thing to do would be:
A
1): Level up to 55 in nyerk gear.
2): Get gear

In your case you want gear on low-level
you could do
B
1): Farm kinah
2): Craft yourself gear or let someone craft it for you

Or maybe like
C
1): Level 40-46
2): Do instances like Steelrake(40) and Theobomos lab/Lannok thing i don't know the right name :P(46)
3): Get instance gear like Steelrake set and 15% Casting-speed weapon or Theobomos/Lannok ish Gear + 17%castingspeed weapon

And last possible way:
D
1): Level to 46
2): Do dredgion-instance 2-3x per day
3): Get 30 Elite set with the AP you gained from dredgions

Well yeah. Game is quite boring to me at the moment.
So not much to do except spam aionsource and watch anime. (ps. One Piece Ep.50!!)
