Tried a search on here, no luck. None on the wiki either.

So...I've seen plenty of armor that's "godstone enabled." But what are they, where do they come from, etc?

Godstones are what come from the gods/goddesses of Aion(aka Helena, Freiya, all the hot people) when they poop. Using them increase all your stats +100 and let you go to the land of the gods.

Godstones are even more awesome than manastones. Godstones give weapons and stuff special types of damage or effects, like Earth damage or blindness.

Don't the added effects only have a % chance of activating? Like 20% chance of adding 300 fire dmg, etc., which again would seem to be useless for sorcerers since they almost never hit with a weapon.

Try the link that Dirty posted above. It explains a lot, and addresses your exact question with:

"The effects of the Divine Stone Enhancements are applied through regular attacks and skills. Mages that use orbs as their main weapons and cast spells will also benefit from the effects of Divine Stone Enhancements no matter what type of attack spells they use. The Divine Stone Enhancements all have different their proc rates, and some attributes may proc more often than others.

To proc the effect more often, it is beneficial to have a fast attack speed, and also to attack a target with a lower resistance of the associated attribute. Classes that often use skills with cast times such as the Sorcerer and Spirit Master can also rely on decent proc rates. The effects will not proc when casting buffs or heals on yourself or to other friendly players."

20% change to do 300 damage. That's 1/5 times that damage will work. On average, an extra 60 weapon damage. Not bad....

1% chance to do 1800 damage though is only an added 18 damage on average. I find 1% chance of doing 3800 damage somewhat neat though, even though on average, its useless.... every now and then... something's going to die very fast.

i think this is a great way to enhance fighting in the game. but my only problem is:

there is always one lucky person that gets something insane from these types of things.

i played lineage 2 for a very long time till i could not stand the grind and went to private but it seems that there was always a bishop that had an augment that was a monster attack or some long range nuke.

are there chances that these stones can make some lucky people to strong?

This article will discuss Godstones and how to enable them. Godstones are used on all weapon items. The basic premise of a Godstone is to apply some sort of ability, which triggers at a certain percent, to inflict your target with.

Godstones can be found throughout the higher level content of the game. They can be found in similar ways that Manastones can be found, only with a significant less frequency. They can also be obtained as quest rewards. Once you obtain a Godstone, you can visit a Godstone Enchanter NPC, which are usually found in large cities only, and have them enable the Godstone to your weapon for a fee. You may also remove Godstones in a similar fashion as Manastones.

When a weapon becomes enabled by a Godstone, it will receive a partical effect (it will glow). This means that your weapon will now have a specific type of glow depending on which Godstone you used. Each type of Godstone (Bleed, Blind, etc) has its own color and effect.

The following is a list of some of Aion's Godstones and their benefit:

Question, if you sock a godstone in a weapon can you reuse it in another weapon at a later stage? For example, can you unsock it and apply it to another weapon or do you lose the Godstone if you unsock just like a manastone?
