Hello.

When I started my 23lvl templar I chose it because it sounds cooler than gladiator.

But now I am starting to regret it. I don't really want to use the shield much/at all.
I just want to have a 2handed weapon equipped and kill everything that moves.


1. Can I get away with using the 2h weapon for kills and would I be lossing much skills on account of not having a shield equipped.
2. Would it be better for me than to reroll as a Glad?

btw. My friend with whom I play in a group is a lvl 23 Chanter.
ps. When I was still playing on Infinite Aion I was a Ranger

lol u never need sword shield as templar maybe in the endgame instances

i have tanked from 0 to 50 with a great sword never had problem i was using lvl 30 un enchanted abyss gear so my gear wasnt awesome aswell

only time i pulled out my shield was when i had the 2k dp up and had nothing else to waste the dp on at boss fights so i could block some crap
