As some of you know I created a slightly modified version of Kings Damage Meter. I opted to use 1.5.0 instead of the more recent 1.5.5. This is because the code in it used to "parse" your damage is relative english compared to that used in 1.5.5 and is its easier to access to, a simple text file. Immediately below is a download link for my mod and some installation instructions.
1) Download Link:
- Scroll to bottom of page & select free download
- Type in the two words it asks you to
- Wait 10 seconds
- Click the download link that appear
http://www.fileserve.com/file/yhvpSCW/KDM-1.5.0_Ecto_Mod.zip
2) Extract to AionEU:
Use winzip or winrar to extract the files. You can store this wherever you please, personally I created a DPS Folder in AionEU and keep it there, with a short cut on my desktop
3) Get yourself a chat.log:
On older versions of aion you simply place the system.ovr file nto your aion directory and that was it. It is slightly different now.
a) Open up your ncsoft launcher, right click on aion and select properties:

b) In the text box below where it says "Extra Command Line Parameters" enter the following string of commands. Don't change it at all, the speech marks etc. are supposed to be there.
-DEVMODE "con_disable_console = 0" -DEVMODE "g_chatlog 1" -DEVMODE "log_IncludeTime 1" -DEVMODE "log_Verbosity 1" -DEVMODE "log_FileVerbosity 1"

c) Restart your aion client, log back into the game, and use a skill, pot, scroll, or do something.
d) Minimise your client and check the AionEU folder for a a file called chat.log

-If you can't find it, double check stage b & restart your client again
3) Hook your DPS meter onto your chat.log file:
a) Open the damage meter by double clicking KingsDamageMeter.exe (from where you extracted the files in the download stage)
b) Out of the 3 buttons on the top right of the damage meter, select the middle one followed by choosing "Locate Log"

c) Direct KingsDamageMeter to the chat.log file in your AionEU directory.

Confirmed this to be accurate with several different classes. DOT's are accurate so long as not recast before they expire. Recasting before they expire increases the dps read.
