"* Increased the accuracy of the Chanter skill ‘Binding Word I'.
* Added an effect to ‘Protective Ward' I - VI that increases resistance to Stumble."

Tried landing Binding Word on Glad with ~1,800MR (no strengthen wings buffed)(I'm on 1,200MA) and he resisted all attempts (was only 5 tries though) which was a bit annoying but kinda expected. Also, same Glad stumbled me 6 times out of 6 with his 80% stumble attack while I had Prot Ward up. Updates working as intended then :)

Of course I could have been on the wrong side of the 'luck engine 2.7' © NCnyerk, but I have suspicions that they didn't go far enough with the boosts to these 2 skills.

your test is based on 5-6 tries. A more accurate test would be to try 100 hits at least.

I realise that, its just some of my intitial impressions of the updates. Not really any kind of test of actual numbers.

Its just based on 2 consecutive PvP encouters where I would have liked to bind the guy at important moments and resisted the stumbles when I needed to but it just seemed to me that I could just as easily been playing 2.6 as far as those 2 skills are concerned on this particular occasion.

The glad was MR stacked so I didn't expect to land the binds and wouldn't expect any different after further playing but I can't deny I wasn't disappointed that I didn't resist the stumbles.

Like I said previously, from my initial impressions I suspect (not really enough testing for definitive answer to that) that they didn't go far enough with the updates but time will tell.

What do you mean ?

1sec casting on Recovery Spell and 30sec CD on parrying strike isn't interesting to you ?

I think he means that he can tell how effective skill updates are when they are explicitly stated, for example 'cast time now 1 second' or 'skill cooldown now 30 seconds' and that he is more interested in finding out the extent of the updates which have not been explicated, for example 'accuracy increased' or 'chance to resist stumble'.
