With pvp armor.
Doesnt matter if you are block build/parry or evasion. The shield will be checked first then the defending stats.
3.0 makes Rangers burst rediculously high.
Assassins and Rangers will be the easymode classes on 3.0. KOR Sorc even QQ about assassins hiting for 3~4k Ambush.

Erm... I remember on Spatalos... that Prische did 3k+ on Ambush on my eternal set... was not enchanted etc but... he still did it... and I've seen lots of these... so I feel like you are kinda late with that lol
PS: Hopefully,Impervious Veil I will be fixed too, tho

Atm, only the people with top notch gear and full buffed can hit 5k stunning shot. But in 3.0 the "average-dude-with-pvp-gear"'s stunning shot will 1 shot your Immortal Shroud with ease, even if you have maxed out pvp def.
Same nyerk with assassins, atm only a few can hit this kind of dammage when semi-buffed. But in 3.0 it will be different.
Phys dammage increases like mad.

Hmmmmmm. Since 3.0 is not here I will use this opportunity to hijack (necro
1. Popping it when gladiator is using Ferocious Strike chain, especially if you are sure that Wrathful Strike is not on cd. Using it right after Robust Blow would be perfect.
2. Chaining it with Remove Shock buff against glad, especially if glad already used Aerial Lockdown before.
3. Popping it before taking powerful long cast time spells like CL or Inferno, and then precasting Radiant Cure or Splendor of Recovery. This way you would lower the skill dmg with increased magic block AND also nulify the done damage with preferred heal, because the concentration increase will probably allow you to finish your heal without any interruptions. It's also a good idea to root your opponent beforehand so they cannot break the spell cast.
4. Using it while sin is casting Massacre on you so to avoid stumble.
And that's pretty much it. Against templars and chanters its usage will be a bit more random I guess. Might also prove to be situationally useful against rangers to complete a random heal with no interruptions... And that's as much as I can think of right now.
