So I was checking my spam filters as I normally do. and I have the following, sent to an E-mail address that I have only ever used to register on Curse.

Battle.Net Account Name: <ADDRESS I'VE ONLY EVER USED TO REGISTER WITH CURSE>

We are very sorry to inform you that your account occurred in the number of illegal transactions in a very long period of time. We have not received any complaints about your transactions. But if other players send complaints about your account to us, we will permanently ban your account.

We are concerned about whether your account has been stolen. For further information please submit your account information at : [address removed]

We will contact you with further instructions once we verify your account, we will reply to your e-mail informing you that we have dropped the investigation.

Not at all, I use a unique address for every site I register with.

The only E-mails I have received to this address are ones from Curse sites, and this sketchy one.

I know that Curse doesn't sell email addresses and so looked around a little bit for you. It looks like you allow forum users to email you from this forum in your settings. Note that they don't see your address when this is done, but you will still *receive* the spam. We do ban these users when we find them (they usually spam the site as well).

It's my guess a spammer signed up on our site and hit the email link on your profile page. You can turn email for users off in your profile.
