So they updated their questions and now i cant login :/

I forgot the answers that i placed there idk when or if i used or not caps on the answers, now is the time to test out their customer support and see how fast i get my account back.

On a side note, if you didnt update your security questions you better update them now before you get locked out like me.

apparently the only way to fix the secret question related stuff is via phone CS.


and ofc there' s abug where it will ask you a question that you didn't give an answer to, then stickto that single question.


and if you try the reset pwd method of getting mroe tries on the question they give you, because it locks you out after 2 tries, you will eventually stop getting the reset pwd email.


and phone cs, at least in europe is on a 2 hour queue, and lots of fun to dial the non uk/france/germany number. lulz

teh suggestion going around right now is to use skype to call the US number instead of the long distance international one.

I found it annoying that they wouldn't allow me to give the same answer to all of their stupid identity questions. It's not like I'll remember the answers to any of them because I don't know the answers to them irl either. I can never remember stupid details like they're asking in their choice of questions.

pretty much all sites that use secret questions are like that since like 2005. and beleive me when i say from personal experience that can bite you in teh ass if you have multiple sets and layers of passwords you use.

as for the stupid questions, each one can be changed with teh drop down menu that the questions are in the box of.... i have absolutely no idea how people miss this, but tehy do, en masse, so i try to help where i can.


that beign said, 90% of the question choices are dumb as nyerk, adn the ones people will remember the answers to, are easily social engineered from their facebook profiles.

And you think I didn't try? I lived all over the place when I grew up (at the worst 4 places in a year) and I am not very good with people's names and remembering who did what. That pretty much takes out like 80% of their questions. There were a couple I could answer without totally cheating because I have a set of answers for a couple of questions just for internet sites like theirs. I just don't have a set of 5 of those that I can consistently remember.

Your answers are probably better than mine. I wanted to give a series of profanity for each question answer, but if taken out of order (like they do when they spit them back at you as questions) I just can't remember it. So sad!

As for calling them i'll prob call them tomorrow or another day.

I'll just call this the start of my horrible experience with EA support, which for now according to most is indeed horrible for the most part.

yeah secret questions is just a nyerk poor out of date security layer anyway.

i tried logging in and its the same deal, still asks me to answer the security question.

i'm going to see if i call them tomorrow.

i always have bad luck with these things.
