3.0 how much sorcs/sm´s magic cancelation will nerf clerics on pvp?

i doubt i'll still be around at 3.0 tbh. im not planning to reroll and gear up another char. and with gw2 and tera likely coming out around same time, i'll jump ship for either of those

as far as the OP topic, we'll have to see what major effect m cancellation has, and we will have to see what kind of passive macc boost we get. if you are offensive, you can reach 1900macc/2500mboost with top gear. adjust as needed to get more macc.

hio razlo:) its not a problem of outdpsing a chanter( and in fact i always had the opinion that chanters would needed more dps since the begining), the problem here is another. The fact we are being pushed only to a support-role class when in the begining cleric was viable as a class to pvp(those good ol times u and me lived back on gorgos
If we now have a problem in clerics numbers, think how bad it will be on 3.0...

it's sufficient atk spd so that your instas animation are fast enough and you get enough cast spd so that your casted spells and heals don't root you on the spot for too long either. if you wanna heal in group, switch to cast spd mace.

Sad to hear, bearing in mind most lfg's are looking for clerics nowadays it's gonna be pretty dead if it were true

Haha you're that kind of player...
Spend years fighting sins while they are not being able to use their key abilities due to magic resist(balance is obviously fine since its in your favor)
Soon as clerics gain the same problems you're like "this game is crap, not worth playing"

MR set won't be needed anymore since you deal less dmg, but receive less either.
SM will have problems killing a cleric in a fearrotation, sorc can't 3 shot classes like cleric anymore etc.
Just wait and see.
The big problem won't be casterclasses.
There won't be a Mellee-Offset so classes like Ranger/Glad/Assa hell, even Templers/Chanter will cut through everything like it's nothing.

Being a healing bot always requires to have a group with you lol... I dont really want to rely on someone when Im pvping... I might decide to pvp at weird for most people hours...

mr set for cleric sure won't be viable anymore, as edgeliver said you'll need to go mb/ma.
and i doubt other classes will still go mres in 3.0, because pretty much all classes are getting a ma boost. with 2k mr you'll hardly resist anything anymore.

i picked the ap60 head, but you can also go with the balic glasses for higher mres, they give the same amount of magic cancel.
and yeah, it's silly that when everyone QQ about the OP dmg sorcs do, they end up with the highest amount of mcancel...
cleric vs sorc was already in favor of sorcs, but it's gonna be a lot worse in 3.0.
