Cheers tek, gd news for me and my 118 weaponsmith stat! Apart from the cloud however it still stands that there are to be no mount rewards in the near future. It wouldn't make any sense if there wasn't some work involved in getting them.

Its handicraft only and you need 500 points + special items for it

But still you can buy bike from other crafter (gold bike is the fastest mount)

lmao, the mount was just an example man... i said that WHATEVER gameforce will give to ppls, most of ppls will get later and later more ppls will have to w8 years too and if YOU do not care, most of them WILL. thats my point. Easy to get? Ah?

Well I read through most of the faq (quite a wall of text there XD) but a good knowlege base that covers prety much all aspects of the game and the transition, however there is an issue that is kinda fuzzy even after reading it all. Regarding the policies about exploits and bug using all I see is we will continue the work developed by Ncsoft as we taking the game as is. So my question is will Gameforge follow blidly the path entailed by Ncsoft ? I know its kind of abstract question so I will lay it plain and simple with 2 examples:


Example 1

When a player goes AFK in C Dredgion or even regular Dredgion Ncsoft is looking at it as breach in terms and conditions as it restricts other player from ejoying the instance, and creates a cue problem to the players awaiting entry. So it's considered an ofence and hence subject to a 3 strike rule...3rd strike means ban.

The action taken in afk cases usualy depends on player reports backed up with screenshots. Will Gameforge proceed with this policy regarding this issue?

Example 2

With the 2.7 update we received a new instance that allows players to fight for insignias wich in turn grant them acess to specific equipment. The instance comes in 2 forms 1 vs 1 and 10 vs 10 (I think that is the number of players but can't remember for sure). If on 1 vs1 as expected there are no major issues in the ffa arena with 10 players there are people grouping up to gang up other players. In this arena in particular when players enter they loose the identification they have (Playername/Legion) and all become contestants. In my view the developers did so to have people fight for the objectives disregarding race/legion. However there are players that group up for this instance, and through the use of 3rd party programs comunicate to ensure that together they take the top places hence gaining an advantage against the average player that regards this instance as a FFA.

Regarding this instance Ncsoft's position is:

So in other words, Ncsoft cannot prevent players to AFK in Dredgion...so they instated a 3 strike rule that can lead to a ban. In the arena however and although they cannot prevent players from teaming up, and although the instance is clearly not designed to group play (disrespecting the code of conduct and rules : Code of conduct (aion)
1.While playing Aion, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players.) they do not enforce any kind of rule, giving a clear advantage to those who group up enabeling them to gear up faster than the normal player.

Will Gameforge be following the same path disregarding game design and allowing certain players to have an advantage over the ones that play it according to the way it was designed?

Actually, no. Trolls aren't trolling.

They are taking on a European product, which includes GB customers. And since NCSoft has given costs for us up until now, I would've thought GF would've had their own pricing structure set out by now.

I have 8.33 Euros. But tomorrow it might be different, and the day after that. Not to mention the fact that using a foreign currency on a credit/debit card will incur extra charges in the UK.

Thank you for finally communicating in a normal way, clap clap and a star beside your name on the wall, why not just take the time to be clear from the get-go? Besides, you are still asking for things you have not yet earned. If there was no F2P model and ncsoft was continuing with these rewards it'd be the same as asking for the better rewards from future months at an earlier stage. You're simply crying about being behind. Why you are doing this when you haven't got a clue what the rewards will be is still a mystery. The end of the discussion seems to be; those who have been playing for 28 months will receive what they have earned by doing so, those who have not will continue on with what was originally set out by ncsoft. The minority of people who are not happy with this can be comforted by the fact the rest of us are.

with the older 64bit client. Hopefully the old clients won't be able to be used anymore at some point.

That and also the fact that players are in ts/mumble/ventrillo ...whatever. Don't get me wrong I think those programs are a handy tool, but the lack of sportmanship and greed of the players leads them to gang up. It's stupid, I go for the arena to have fun, win or loose that is my goal there, but for certain people ...win is the only thing they care about, hence anything goes, even if it ruins everyone elses fun. I once got a 4 people group in chaos arena, all from the same legion that were clearly grouped up, moving together and staying together recovering hp protecting each other and not atacking the people in they're group. needless to say that they ended up in the top 4 places. What pissed me off was the fact that no one else was able to do anything because as soon as they saw u. So meh we lasted 2 seconds alive...no fun just pointless.

This is the response I got when I asked them if trading kills or teaming up to gain unfair advantage in FFA arena is a violation of EULA/CoC.

The real funny nyerk in that response is that the GM saying in one sentence, "free-for-all Arena is considered just that, a free for all" and then in the next sentence telling "Trading kills or teaming up with other players is not considered a violation". Since when the terms "FFA" and "Teaming up" became interchangeable in the gaming world, I do not know. I promptly canceled the sub as the people managing the game have no clue about how to maintain a gaming environment.

Fact is, you miss nothing in AION if you cancel your game account as the forums are more lively than the servers. And you will see a lot of PvP aka TvT(Troll vs. Troll) action in there. Why waste 15 bucks when you get total entertainment for free? You can also save yourself a lot of frustration as you don't have to deal with socketing or enchanting anymore as soon as you cancel sub.

Its really a miracle how this game is actually still surviving as a p2p game in the west when its pretty much free to play or bot to play in Korea.

I think it's been asked and iirc you will be able to x-fer "old-world"-toons to the new servers at some point. Just not from the get-go, as this would completely ruin balance, as well as eceonomy on the new servers.

It's so retarded to reach Ap cap in like 10-20 mins even as officer. Some going to say go PvP just for fun, but it is not like this when you r losing for example 2k ap with each death and not getting anything in return, at least to cover your loses. Don't know if all players know, but at some point you even start getting 1XP per kill so XP is also limited.
The truth is that current sistem limited the players to PvP at high ranks even if they want and force them, mean geared ppl to spend all their ap for potions, seeds and so.
