I enjoyed Aion also when I were lowbie trying to do the campaign quests with some randoms actually knowing my class, position and proving I know what to do in extreme situations. Now,it's you get 55 character in your group,he goes for Mentor and power levels you in couple of hours. Skipping all the lowbie content. Dredgions are about who will have higher dps and rush for Captain to finish the instance and get the holy 2k AP more.
Ok,I'll mention the good things about Aion:
Graphics.
Cool looking chars, weapons and armors - skins in general.
That's pretty much about it.
I'll ask Biala later on tonight. But let me know how many keys you want.
Holy nyerk man lol, is abyss really empty? I mean farming balaurs there for the mats to fenris legs was pretty much the reason why everyone would go to core! I remember having some very nice skirmishes fighting for territory to keep farming those damn balaur in circle around the core lol... Is lvl 55 making fenris/miragent useless? Or people can simply farm the stains (spelling, i forgot the name eheh) in the new ''ground'' zones?
I'm trying toget a hold of 4 keys so that we can test the beta out in those 10-15 days of its life. It would be great if you could provide me the keys, I heard you got a couple extra eheh!
Tnx again for the response m8! Really appreciated!!!

The best thing about aion IMO is the combat, i played swtor and a lot of other mmo's but nothing came close to the smoothness of aions combat, yes it is ruined by rng, awful class balance and few other things, but when we are just talking about combat mechanics, it really is something better then most other mmo's.
Like all rpg's the skill cap is very low but with things like weaveing and jumpshotting etc it does raise the cap a little more then other mmo's. Main reason myself and many other ppl quit was ncsoft, introducing stupid stuff like the nerf to rifting, AP cap, pve mobs in pvp area's and then there's the awful class balance and rng i mentioned which isn't really nc's fault. But hopefully gameforge will listen to these complaints and actualy change most of them, because if they do, there will prob be a lot more players returning if they do it right.
Aion is not the number 1 most popular game in korea for no reason, and considering their culture revolves around gaming, thats beyond insane, Even topping starcraft.
But saying this, im still gonna try tera in may :P

I managed to play tera shortly after it released in korea and honestly the combat system was about the only innovative thing in the game. Needless to say, to me atleast, it got boring rather quick.
Aion going f2p is a great thing happening atm for many of us waiting on Gw2 or Diablo 3. With 8/8 hc progression in wow you end up with 5 days a week with nothing to do since arena pvp has become retardly unbalanced . That is why I am really looking forward for aion new servers, everyone starting over with no gear advantages only personal experience and skills. Most of this games are fun when people do not simply go around in full lolgear and 1 shot left and right. When they reach that point you know its the time to simply gtfo =). Hopefully it'll last long enough for the most waited Diablo3 or Gw2.
So yea, I am after 4 betakeys if anyone got any to spare. I signed up for the newsletter but yea... I know how lucky I am when it comes to being picked for ''betakeys'' , still waiting for Path of the Exile beta key since 8 months lol =D.

PS: If you wanted to play Aion so much you could simply pay the 10 nyerking euros and go for it. Cheap people,no wonder why Aion doesnt prosper when everyone wants to go the "cheap way" ffs

so as i understand the veteran rewards will be available for new servers as well?
that might be a bad idea as i can already imagine bored old players making new chars there having free ancient crowns worth 300k+ ap, what's a lot for low levels, and twinking out perma 30-40ish characters being able to buy almost full 30 abyss gear instantly just from the rewards, thus pretty much shutting down any low level pvp in abyss
i know loyality should be rewarded somehow, but giving out all the major ancient crowns at fresh server will create pretty big imbalance at start and to some extent would be same as allowing transfers, which has been taken care about. all the newcomers talking about starting from 0 and even grounds will surely get a nasty surprise =p
what about people being able to apply these on new servers only after, lets say 3-4 months after the launch?

Second - You wont be able to get veteran rewards on the new servers,as far as I know. Even if you do,the veteran rewards are not so great to make a significatn change in your gear.
Third - the pvp in Aion is zerg... so your gear doesnt matter.

actually if you look at gathered q&a velvet says they will be available, then again there's the announcement about discontinuing them but apparently only in na..so yea its a little confusing
as for the rest of your post its your opinion only though thanks for sharing it. i would say you kinda look at the things from endgame player point of view because gelk/ingi is indeed zergy and of course lower level areas gonna be dead on any old server, that surely gonna change if new one opens.
and 300k ap at lvl 30 is a lot. once people start running dredge regularly/level to 50+ surely it wont matter much anymore, that's why i thought some delay wouldn't hurt.

it's actually ~350k something for full time sub, i miss one month though
@jinx what you getting so mad about? i used to play a lot on zikel/israphael at the launch with breaks every now and then and lowbie pvp on new server will surely be fun. i have no clue heard euro servers are more deserted maybe that's why you're so negative
honestly though looks like im wasting time starting to argue with you over nothing, just block me and have fun =p

PS: Example...when I were lowbie, a sin from JP Button was killing full groups on level 40... he was on full pvp gear doing 1,2,3 Tab 1,2,3.... doing that all day long... If that's pvp Im a monkey.

exactly, so what are we arguing about? my whole post was meant for it not to happen on a new server when geared out twinks from veteran rewards do that kind of "pvp "to new players just starting to enjoy game
in your first post you kept saying vet rewards won't make difference, now you admit geared out lowbie twinks are bad and ridiculous, maybe stop contradicting yourself
also gotta love you assuming i love twinking and two shoting some poor lowbies when clearly what i wrote in my initial post was complete opposite trying to avoid all the instant twinking happen at launch, logic much?
no i'm not trying to brag with huge epeen or something, where would that come from when i clearly have actually tried to be nice all the time
either way this thread has been officially derailed now *hides*

There is no estimation for 3.0 yet since we need to get the f2p changeover on the way. Add up some monitoring weeks and months to adjust the game and the technical aspects of it. But we got 3.0 on our huge ToDo list as one of the high prioritized tasks
