you remove your information yourself, and scramble the pwd after you're done.
idk of many/any website that will delete your account for you, aside from some social netowrk sites, and they still retain your data in theri db's.
what law in what country is this? curse is a US company based in teh US and therefore subject to US laws.
also you have 1 post. edit that one post, remove any info from your profile/etc, change email, change name, scmable pwd. even better than a deletion.

Thanks for your message. I've gone through several outdates forum sites removing my no-longer-in-use accounts but I wasn't able to do the same here. If it gave me an option to AT LEAST change my user name, i could very easily scramble the password and email as suggested by you and forget about it. However, change of account name NOR account deletion can be found.

seems they removed the chang eusername option. maybe when snoozle(nobody) comes online he will feel like changign ti for you, maybe not. who knows. he's a nice guy though, so he might, but there is no legal obligation to do so.
anyways, there was never an option to delete your account. i don't know of many forums that have that option for the end user to do himself. or many sites. only 2 sites i can think of that have that option is facebook and my yearbook, and fb only did it due to customer feedback en masse requesting it.
i don't know alot of forums that allow the end user to change their displayed name either/
for changing yoru email address you may need to use a valid email address and confirm the change on that email address account. otherwise it may revert. idk if curse or aionsource is like that, but most websites/forums are like that.

I will sit here with fingers crossed hoping snoozle will notice my post and alter my name to something random, I am not picky. That would be the next best option :-)

Could someone tell me how to remove/delete my account with AionSource? By law, it should be there as an option for anyone who has previously registered. However I fail to find it... Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :-)
Normally speaking, if you would like an account removed then login to the account in question and send me a PM. I will then permanently ban the account and remove identifying information from it. I will not remove your posts as the removal of posts is disruptive to threads of discussion and can break things elsewhere. Also, 9 times out of 10 somebody that has told me to remove their stuff will then come back at some point and ask for it back and if the posts are still there then it is at least retrievable.
Please be aware that while I can do this for AionSource, I cannot do this for your Curse account as all linked accounts are in another db and will re-migrate here regardless of what I do. You will need to contact Curse support on their website to remove a Curse linked account. And you'll know if it's a Curse linked account if you can login to curse.com with the same information as here.
So please PM me with what you would like to happen.
