So it looks like we have beta keys and in order to get a key from this site you should answer the following questions in the thread below:

• Why do you want a beta key? Please make sure to state you're an EU player as part of your answer if such is the case.
  
• Why should AionSource give you a key? In other words, how do you contribute to the community of AionSource?

Please note that we do have a decent number of keys and that's the reason for the two questions. I expect to give keys out as I see people respond likely starting tomorrow. This will happen until all keys are gone at which point I will post that they're gone.

I'm an EU player who has played aion since beta, i have 20+ months of game time, i left a while ago after my guild quit (some transfer'd to another server) so since leaveing i have tried many other mmo's including SWTOR, however non of them could compare to aion IMO, obviously it does have its downsides (A lot of them:P) but nothing comes closer to what i want in an mmo then what aion has, i'm a pretty hardcore gamer, so obviously thats probaly why i like the game so much, i can understand why a lot of casual's have left but there is a reason why aion is the number 1 popular game in korea, and considering korea's culture is heavily based around gaming, that is HUGE.

So yeah i recently decided to come back and to my delight i found out aion is going F2P, this is the best move that could happen IMO, Gameforge has started well and look forward to them running the game. Would love to have a beta key to see how my net is on the new servers (was pretty bad before) and of course to get level 30 for the 30 days of gold package. Really cant wait to reroll on a fresh server, playing sin this time :)

I have been a member of AionSource for a long time as you can see, and made plenty of helpful posts, trying to help newer players, and giving advice.

Same as Repoo, been lurking around here and on facebook to get a beta key and give Aion another chance.
I've spent countless hours on aionsource during my gametime in Aion and I find this site to be very informative.

Planning a comeback with some friends , 4 of us so far , having the possibility to test the game again especially on the new servers will make it or break it. In other words , the beta key will most likely help to decide if to resub (Go gold) or look for a new game. Loved the game back then, but the crashes and the lag was simply too much to handle :/ .

As for , why should aionsource give me a key , as stated above I lurk around this site since way back in 09 and even while not playing Aion there is allways a good chat on the chit chat / other games corner of Aionsource.

With that being said, wether I get those keys or not from you guys I dig this site anyway and I have some troll friends around here to come and visit anyway ;).

So yea.. Gl to everyone with gettin in the beta and Repo m8 if we both get a key I'll let you know on which server we are going so that we can kick some ass togheter !

Hi, i want a beta key cuz i always liked the style and the world of Aion, the unique spell effects, and character looks. Unfortunately I didn't got the chance to play it for long on official servers. So im very excited about the Gameforge servers, with the new eu support.
I would be very grateful to have the chance to play in the closed beta, and participate in exploring the few bugs, to help improve the game :)

I'm reading Aionsource news, and forums now for quite a while, and like the page :) I'm not yet commenting a lot unfortunately, but if i would have the chance to play in the closed beta i would give a full report in a topic about how is the game, in the aionsource forums, and moreover I would write a full report to my nations bigest MMO site(on native language).

- The reason for me wanting a Beta key is rather simple.I Love Aion.I played it before on a friends account for a couple of months and simply loved it.Especially the Chanter and the Spiritmaster. Unfortunately i don't really agree with subscription models for games so the fun eventually ended.The news that it would go F2P made me jump off my chair and I've have been closely watching any news or announcements regarding this topic ever since.

İ am an Eu player i want too much try to aion but i also tried free trial but i didnt continued because of economic problems.İ was really happy when i saw aion became f2p.Now, I want join closed beta and became veteran statu before game officaly launch.

I have played Aion for quite a while, I was there at the launch all the way just before patch 2.0 then sadly our ways had to go a seperate route, but now I'm back again! I'm fully hyped up about Aion and I'm ready to nerd it like I did never before! So far I've been stalking facebook and the forums for a key and I hope this is my shot of getting one!

When I play a game, I fully dedicate myself to playing that game and getting the best out of it. I love playing games (Sometimes a bit too much perhaps :suave: ) I think you should give me a key because I'm a diehard gamer who loves to game and I've been seriously camping the forums/facebook pages like a camper in a fps game for a key as I'm really really really looking forward to playing this game once more. As a beta tester I will also provide as much feedback as neccesary to provide a smoother launch!

Hi, I'm not an EU player, I live in Argentina and we have no such thing as a latinamerican server. I gave a try to Aion EU anyway and was quite disappointed because it was kinda empty.
I played Aion in private servers for more than a year so I know the game.
I want to play f2p, cause it might have more players (like private server do)and will be free of bugs (like any retail server). I want a beta key to try that :D

I'm new in aionsource, but I don't mind starting to be active and report whatever is needed to test things in the beta server.

Played Aion since open beta in 2009, I know perfectly how everything in game works or should work in case there are any mistakes when taken over by Gameforge. How I contribute to community? Well.. I'm active on forums, used to be even more active when it came to helping other players understanding game concepts especially about Assassin class, now I still visit every day even if half posts are snowmans however when it comes to game mechanics I can understand and explain everything about the game.

- Actually i never had participated in an Open Beta before, and I trying my luck in this game. I am from Europe, and for what I've seen, Aion is one of the most beautiful, detailed, amazing and popular MMORPG out there. I could never try it, because it was Pay to Play, but now, it seems that i finally will be able to play it. The Veteran Reward will help me a lot, because i can't afford to pay a Gold Pack, and it seems that this Free To Play version has some disappointing restrictions. This is why i want a key, i want to be able to play this game for free, try my first open beta, and eventually, get a Veteran Account.

- Lets be honest here. I only registered because of the opportunity of getting a key, which is, in some way, a very selfish attitude. However, with the release of the Free to Play version and with a bit of luck, my entry in the open beta, i can make Aion Source, my "Aion Gamer's home". I will clearly have many doubts about this game, and i want to share them with the community. Its not a big contribution for the community, but i am willing to be participative.

I'm a Europe mmorpg player from 8 years. I played games like Guild Wars, Lineage 2, Aion and others. I started my adventure with Aion from early begginig of this game. I played on beta and some months after it starts in Europe, and i really liked this game. Homewer i quit from Aion because of problems with fortress (i mean fps and lags), but now when i think about this i really regret my decission and i want to back to Aion as soon as possible. It would be great if aionsource community will help me with this, and let me to take part in Gameforge Beta.

Honestly I haven't contribute too much in AionSource community, because I haven't played in Aion from last months and was concentrated on other games like Lineage 2 (from Innova), but it will be diffrent from moment when i will started to play this great MMORPG again.

First off, when news came out about Aion back in the days, I was checking the web trying to get my hands on anything I could find about it! I went mental, loved it so much that I joined the Asian beta, just because I didnt want to wait so long here in EU. Was one of the many first to reserve the name in advance when the game finaly launched in EU.
Aion had everything I wanted pvp wise, Pve the crafting = loved it! The armors, character creation, emotes I could go on and on!
Made many friends in aion, to which I still have contact with today!
Not only was the game sweet, but this forum has always been tops!

When I heard Aion was going free to play I couldnt belive it, I just GOT to get in the beta!!!!
Besides girl gamers are rare! Way to many guys all the time. xD

Well, just to get that out of the way, I'm an EU player.

When I heard for the first time Aion was going f2p I wasn't happy at all. f2p usually means cash shop which means pay to win. And as someone who bought 2 skins and 1 pet from the NC store in over 2 years of Aion, you can see I'm not one who likes to spend real money on a game, subscription aside.
Then CM BlackVelvet appeared, started answering questions and I guess she managed to make me look at the bright side of the change. Last but not least, having a CM who actually cares and is present and active is a very nice change from what we're used to lately as EU customers.
So I want a beta key to test. I want to test the game under GF, the GMs, the new environment, all the new stuff they will bring to the game. And I want to help GF to correct anything that needs to be corrected before it hits live. This change has the potential to be really great for Aion and I'd like to help within my possibilities so that it /is/ great.

As for Aionsource, I never was an active member (nor I was active on official boards), but I always lurked in the background. I came out of hide with the f2p announcement when I asked for a refer-a-friend key for NA as I was really angry and didn't want to play in a pay to win environment. Turned out Nobody couldn't refer anybody anymore ^^
Since then I posted mainly in the q&a thread about the f2p change.
I suppose the keys will be given mainly to old/active members but I thought it was worth a shot as I'd really like to test Aion in the beta :)

It has come to my attention that you are about to launch the beta testing phase of the 3.x patch which made me curious about the game, besides that the new "free to play" system plays a great role in my decision of returning to the field of Atreia (I used to play Aion, had a level 50 Templar and Spiritmaster). I am from Hungary, central EU, (having a satisfying internet connection for gaming). Besides my fanatism towards the game I have participated in many other beta tests from various genres, but I prefer playing/testing RPGs and MMOs. If needed I am willing to make a list of them in another post. I hope and really looking forward to help you making the game experience better.

Same as posts above, I have been keeping my eye on facebook, gameforge and aionsource for beta key giveaway.. I can only think best of aion(only reason I quit it is because of huge player leaving, even almost all my guildy left) and I really want to give aion another chance to entertain me as it did before.. As most of us veterans I want to reroll fresh and level up my toon in new server which is not f**kd up and have fun like we did in old aion glorious days :worship:
I would love to get a beta key to level to lvl30 and get that 30 days of gold package :skip: That would be very big reason to continue subscribtion for gold package afterwards...
I would kindly help aion team to let them know about all the bugs and report all issues if there are any :)

I'm an EU player, been playing aion since 1.5, I pretty much play the game because of the fast paced PVP en graphics, the thing that got me deciding not to subscribe was the poor support by NC soft, and the fact that under the P2P model my server (spatalos) got deserted and couldn't give me what I look for in Aion -> PvP.

I've been actively following the aion f2p transition, I really like where this game could be going, I like how gameforge communicates with it's future community and I would like to help them out by beta testing their soon to be product.

I left a while ago after people began to leave Aion, my guild was reformed and deleted. I tried many kinds of mmorpg.. and even new one, but.. It seems that Aion really stucked inside of my heart.. my soul... I was SO HAPPY that finally it would be lot's of people in case of free-to-play... and I want to begin right from beta test... to help search for bugs e.t.c want to help to improve Aion as I can do that...

Gameforge made a great politics.. I think it would really work good... I want to want to return to my favourite game.. help newbies... test all features I could on beta)) If I would be given a key of course...
