Hi there,

I played aion 2 years ago, but left because of some too much grind things. Now with the f2p model, and the new server me and my friends are gonna start playing again.

Im playing right now in a private server, wich only has battlegrounds and we start at lvl 55. From what I've seen in the battlegrounds the ranger is much more op than the assassin, basicly killing almost everyone in 3 or 4 hits, therefore not requiring much skill, while the assassin takes a lot of skill and its difficult to kill and survive after the kill.

Is this the same in the retail server? Are rangers this op (easy to play) too ?

Will the 3.0 nerf rangers and buff assassins? What should I pick? I Really prefer assassins gamestyle but its a hardtime in battlegrounds as assassin....

You already answered your question: atm ranger is easy mode and have no idea when 3.0 gonna come, but in 3.0 ranger not gonna be nerfed, just sin get buff to make playing him again with smile (atm if u roll sin you'll go in rage so often during pvp)

Also if u have a bad connection go with ranger. Sin need good ping, lots of gear and more M Acc on stunt skills

Ppl have been asking this kind of question since the beggining of the game. Looks like the char you like the most needs more skill to play then the other, and you are worried about that. This is simple: u can play ranger, kill ppl (or maybe not...idk) and be always thinking you could be having more fun with a sin, or u can be playing with a sin, having fun and thinking u could be killing more ppl with a ranger. Dude just play the char you like the most.
