Gameforge just announced their up and coming transfer date where their new servers will be opening as the 28th of February. All those hints we kept picking up on turned out to be the truth. They will also be bringing us the 3.0 expansion in spring, just like NA Aion will be releasing 3.0 in spring.

It has now been announced what will happen for those that have pre-paid Aion subscription time. All pre-paid time will be switched to Gameforge as Aion coins. For every day extra paid in advance, you'll receive 6 Aion Coins. That's right, if you do the math, every 2 weeks is 84 Aion coins. This is an extremely good rate of transfer since we've been given the information that the Aion gold packs will stay at 99 coins. So buy up now.

Make double sure that you've checked off the box giving NCsoft permission to transfer your account to Gameforge by the 27th of February at 3pm (GMT+1). As promised, all switched accounts will receive Veteran status.

Please note that it only works if you're in EU Aion. The instructions for it are up on the Gameforge page.

You don't have to transfer for NA - it'll be the same company running it. Which is confusing, because now there's Gameforge Aion for EU and NCWest Aion for NA. And they're both going f2p.

Is ncwest still allowing people to buy additional time? That's like selling game time for half the price, provided u pay in advance... kinda fishy.

It's actually good business sense. After all, you don't have to buy a gold pack *technically* under the new system. So by giving everybody a one time bargain price they're almost guaranteeing up front money. Regular f2p companies seem to do this all the time with their "purchase from us and get 25% off of your order!!!" sort of deals.

Contact gameforge customer support at this point. There may be a way to enable the transfer option, but I don't know. A lot of it depends on whether the data is physically there, but disabled for Gameforge or if it's just not there at all.

hi guys,i have a small question and maybe someone can help me with a answer...
I logged in my ncsoft account and said it's already tranferred to gameforge.
All good and nice till now but I try ,since 28 feb -00.00 hours, to play and I can't log in .Now comes the small question:is the gameforge servers on or we must wait more time to play in EU aion server?

They still aren't on.
The migration process is still going and from what Velvet is saying on the forum, it's pretty slow as well. They have no idea on how much more it will take for now
